Formaticum Professional Grade Cheese Wax Coated Paper for Wrapping Cheese

I decided to give this cheese paper a try—and let me tell you, it was the best decision ever. I’m a huge fan of good cheese, especially Parmigiano Reggiano and Pecorino Romano. I used to store them in plastic bags, and honestly, I was never happy with the results. The texture would suffer, and they just didn’t stay as fresh as I wanted. Now I wrap them in this cheese paper and store them in a glass container with a vented lid—and the difference is incredible. My cheeses are still in great condition even after almost two months! If you love high-quality cheese and want it to stay fresh and flavorful, this paper is absolutely worth it.

OK, these are great. The design is kinda fun and the labels are easy to read. The cheese stays fresh. Yep, it does what it says it will do. We cannot ask more. And, I want to say that I live with a lot of people in a co-housing situation and this paper really doesn't last more than a week with people going in and out of the cheese drawer trying to get their fix. I hope Formaticum keeps going with design innovations to both improve durability and give us some choices with size and design of the paper...why not give us an entire roll instead of sheets for those of us who--yikes--get humongous cheese blocks from Costco?

I had never heard of Cheese Storage Paper before-- I love it- It really does keep your cheese from drying out or molding. And so easy to use. I have now ordered the bags also- This has several other uses like storing your deli sliced meats.

I am, really, shocked that these papers work! I bought them hoping to extend for a few days more the life of the cheeses we buy. I also purchased some other brands, in order to compare their effectiveness. Last month, we had occasion to really give these a workout. We had to leave home suddenly because of a family emergency, and we were unable to return home for 4 weeks. Guess what?!? The cheese in the Formaticum Cheese Paper was STILL GOOD!! No slick, wet moisture on the outside! No mold! The cheese tasted perfect! I don't know if it works on all cheeses, but the Manchego we wrapped was in absolutely perfect shape. I did not expect to put it to the test for such a long time -- I was hoping for a week or two. Well, I'm sold now. P.S. The other brand, Gourmet Trends Forever Cheese Bags, worked pretty well, too, with a different and slightly softer cheese, but not as well as the Formaticum papers. I didn't know I would be conducting a 4-week experiment, or I would have used the same type of cheese.

Not what I thought it would be!

I was sick of my cheese always going moldy when I stored it so I got these to try. They are in my option very expensive but worth the price. They do a much better job allowing the cheese to breath and preventing mold. I have easily saved as much in cheese not being thrown out as these cost.

I had a friend give me this cheese paper last year. It is absolutely amazing! I buy large wedges of gouda cheese from Costco. Once I've opened it I use the cheese paper to wrap it in. It keeps fresh forever - no drying out and no mold. I ran out a while ago and thought that wax paper would do the trick. No such luck. I was excited to see that Amazon has it. Highly recommend.

La use para almacenar queso. Util para poco tiempo. Si el queso se queda mas tiempo se llena de moho. Es mejor ponerlo en vacio.
