Nu Finish Once A Year Polish and Sealant, Professional Car Polish, 16 oz

This is a new version of the "once-a-year car polish". I applied this polish to my 2024 Hyundai Palisade. The paint color is dark burgundy. I hand-applied the polish and removed it with a microfiber towel. It took me about 1 hour from start to finish. This car polish goes on easily doing one section at a time, however, you need to apply some effort to remove the dried sealant once it starts to film. The good news is that Nu Finish put a mirror shine on my car, it is stunning. I like the non-wax formula and the inclusion of the ceramic coating to repel water. At $12, the price is much better than the competition. I am confident that this polish will last at least 6-12 months (based on my prior experience with the original product). I live in the Chicago area, so a good sealant is required due to the hot summers and salty roads in the winter. I recommend this product.

I’ve been using once a year car polish forever and have always been happy with the results. This product went on easy and it removed easier than the non-ceramic version. It’s too early to tell how long this ceramic technology will work compared to the original version.

Works great! I used a Harbor Freight Bauer corded short throw dual action polisher with a 6” backing plate and a finishing pad. After taping the plastic trim. I used this NuFinish to polish the paint. It made my paint look like a mirror. Any haze or swirls was removed. Beautiful product! Will buy again!

works really well. leaves car with a beautiful shine. However, there are other spray on caranuba wax products that are much easier and have just as nice a shine. My biggest issue is that when you wipe off the Nu Finish polish, it makes little white flakes that you then have to wipe down again. Also, as it states on the packaging, do not get this on plastic, as it will leave a white mark. It can be scrubbed off but its just another thing to deal with.

This NU Finish car wax is awesome. my son used it on his friends 250,000 Porsche Carrera and it still looks great several washing later. This wax is almost magic for its ease of application. Simply rub it on and hand buff it off. You can use a power buffer if you have some oxidation and it will put a shine on your car or boat that will amaze you. I use it every year before I go to the beach to fish for a month. I wash the salt mist off my car every evening and it still looks great at the end of the month. I used it on my sons 2006 black Yamaha boat that had a fair bit of oxidation, and it was just awesome at making the boat shine like it was wet. I used a Makita buffer for that application and it worked perfect.

Damn product really works . I've been using Nu Finish on my wife's 2014 silver Honda CRV for over 10 years now . But I use spray on wax for my 2 daughters cars and my own. Well, all 3 vehicles paint is faded on top except my wife's CRV. About 3 years ago none of the vehicles were faded until I got lazy and started using spray on wax. This One Year wax is actually a Paint Sealant. Explains why it doesn't fade. Easy to wipe off . Gloss last about 3 months. No more spray on wax for me

After they changed the formal this product is like milk not the liquid thick paste it was and is somewhat streaky to use does leave a brilliant shine and is a long lasting sealant. I contacted energizer company email and they offered a refund on my two bottles had to take pics of the bottles the info they wanted. This is the newer version with ceramic and it does leave a brilliant shine !. Best part is its easy on and off. Just apply by hand with a damp microfiber pad and remove with a microfiber towel. Did remove fine swirl marks. Perfect for a weekend car enthusiast not wanting to pay a car detailer. If it lasts half the amount of car washes they claim would be happy. This is very cost effective for what it does. After i was done could feel the supper slick finish. Update 7/15/26: They changed the formula of this product has the consistency of water and is streaky and harder to remove.

I’ve been using Nu Finish for 30 years at least and was reluctant to try this newer formula. Wow. I have to admit I think it’s far better. The shine with either is great but the Polish/Sealant is much slicker after applying. It’s so smooth! Also, there is none of the noting powdery residue left like with the original product. Will have to see how long it lasts.

Good product for polishing your car and looks shiny and smooth to the touch. However, it wont remove fine scratch in the first place. Maybe you have to reapply several times.

i love this polish you can use it when the car is still damp use only once a year i would not think so? i polish once every 4 weeks

Goes on quickly wipe off prior to drying hard, one panel at a time now protected from bird droppings etc does windows too. Just brilliant product.
