no havent't noticed a smell of plastic? however i do have to smear the tablets in peanut butter as my dog won't chew the table, i digress in my humble opion this dog vitimine product it working for my dog .i hope this answer is usuful ?

Too early to tell if they are working or not as I've only used them for a week. However the taste once in your mouth is quite nasty, kind of bitter fishy taste. They are quite big but easy enough to follow. Take 3 x a day, one with each meal. Will update in a few weeks.
