I’ve tried memory foam pillows before, but never actually owned one. There are so many options out there, and since pillow preferences are so subjective (firm vs. soft, memory foam vs. down, etc.), I never knew where to start. I’m very glad this is the one I chose! This Vaverto memory foam pillow is reasonably priced, incredibly comfortable, and has been an unexpected game changer for my sleep so far. I occasionally deal with neck and shoulder pain from an old rotator cuff injury, and as a side sleeper, it doesn’t take much for me to wake up with significant neck pain. I didn’t have particularly high expectations going in, but after just a few nights, this memory foam pillow has made a noticeable difference. I’ve been sleeping more soundly and waking up with less neck discomfort. It’s still early, so I can’t say how much of that is the pillow versus simply getting some much-needed rest, but my experience so far has been VERY positive. I usually prefer firmer pillows, so I was a little concerned this memory foam pillow might feel too soft. Instead, it provides the support of a firm pillow while still giving that comfortable, sink-into-the-foam feeling. I was also pleasantly surprised by the cooling effect. I live in Florida, where the heat and humidity are relentless this time of year, and the pillow kept my head and face noticeably cooler throughout the night. The packaging was impressive—I’ve never seen a pillow vacuum-sealed and rolled so efficiently. Once you remove it from the packaging, definitely give it 24–48 hours to fully expand and air out. My only minor complaint is that it had a slight factory odor when first opened (kind of like paint fumes), but the packaging warned this was normal, and the smell is dissipating. (You can only smell it if you're burying your face in the pillow, not from regular use.) One final observation: when I got home today, I found my cat happily sleeping on the memory foam pillow, so apparently it's feline-approved too! 😄 Anyway, if you're looking for a comfortable, supportive memory foam pillow at a great price, I definitely recommend giving this one a try. I’m genuinely looking forward to sleeping on it again tonight.

I received this memory foam pillow very quickly, the morning after I ordered it. It came in a nice rectangular box with a handle. When I opened it the pillow was rolled up inside with a leaflet for instructions. They were detailed instructions, I felt like I could follow them properly and know what to expect. I took the pillow out from the plastic and put it in a slightly warm humid room. It started rising quickly but I wanted to follow the instructions so I let it sit for 48 hours. I’ve been using it for 2 weeks and it’s very comfortable. I believe peoples opinions on the firmness of memory foam pillows is very subjective, Ive seen some reviews say its soft and some say its firm. In my opinion it is very firm which is what I prefer with both pillows and mattresses. It is not so firm that it feels like a brick, it has enough give to be comfortable but still supportive. The only thing is that it is very high so if you need a flatter pillow this may be too high for you. I think it is a great pillow. Regarding the look of it, it looks like a normal white memory foam pillow. It looks clean and professional. The instructions were very clear. They also stated there may be a slight odor, which is common with most memory foam, but I didn’t smell anything at all.

I’ve never been a huge fan of memory foam pillows to begin with, but I figured I’d try this one out. This pillow is actually quite comfortable. I took a nap with it the other day and fell asleep immediately and woke up with no neck pain (which is amazing in my world). It’s still a memory foam pillow though (which I’m not fully comfortable with), so I did have to adjust the position a few times. The quality of the pillow itself is very nice. This pillow is worth giving a shot if you’re wanting to go into the memory foam world!

I thoroughly enjoyed this Vaverto cooling memory form pillow. I have been on a quest for a comfortable and supportive pillow for quite some time, and this Vaverto pillow fits the bill. I often struggle with insomnia and much of the reason is that I cannot seem to get into a comfortable position while sleeping and toss and turn trying to get my head and neck comfortable. I’ve had many restless nights in the past switching pillows. This Vaverto pillow is different, it is firm enough to fully support my head and neck, while also being comfortable and soft and not extra firm, it is a good balance. Also, the cooling sensation is an added bonus, especially for summer since I don’t have AC and it keeps my head and face cool. All around this is a great pillow for my sleep routine and helps me rest easier!

After the pillow expands to fullness I brought it inside I had it on the patio. It was comfortable from the first night. I loved the slight bamboo smell, it's incredibly light and you can squish it to your own sleeping habits. The quality is top notch. I am a hot sleeper so the cooling ability wasn't there for me, however, I still very much like this pillow and highly recommend it.

Purchased the two pack, king size. These pillows took a few days to air out and get rid of the smell. Definitely needed to wash the cover. They are a bit hard and maybe a bit too thick. They make good wall cushions if you don't have a friendly headboard and a king bed.

INITIAL Impression: WHAT A MISTAKE THIS WAS! The foam is taking forever to expand, it is a gross color, it is way too soft where it has started to expand. The warranty says it ONLY applies to the original purchaser, which means you cannot give this to anyone as a gift, it would instantly lose its warranty. DO NOT USE ANY EXTERNAL HEAT SOURCE (some memory foam actually suggests putting it in a slightly warm dryer, but to do that would void the warranty.) I got this because I have severe back pain, but it doesn't look like it will ever be firm enough to offer support. It says it will take 24-48 hours to fully expand! I bought it because I need relief NOW, not in 2 days! It has a very limited warranty of only 3 years. The memory foam travel size pillows I bought on Amazon, made by MALOUF, in 2017 came with a 5 year warranty and are still useful, but do need replacing, 9 years later! Unfortunately those pillows are no longer available on Amazon. I chose this small Vaverto memory foam pillow "for camping", because it was available with next morning delivery with some other purchases I made yesterday. (Hoping to be able to use it TODAY.) And because most of the reviews were positive. It says on the crumpled paper warranty and directions, that ONE side of the pillow is for cooling, but WHICH SIDE? They don't tell you. The order "Shipped at 12:31 AM" the box was cold when it was "Delivered at 9:41 AM". The outdoor temperature had climbed to 51 degrees by then from a low last night of 47 degrees. My room is heated to a comfortable 78 degrees. But we still have a long way to go before this hunk of greenish blue, extremely squishy (I can pinch it at the most expanded area and my fingers nearly touch each other with maybe ¼” of foam separating them. NOT an encouraging sign. There are bits of foam starting to come out of the "punched holes" which appear to be slightly smaller on one side than the other, but WHICH is supposed to be the "cooling side that dissipates heat? Probably the larger holes, but they also weaken the firmness. On closer examination of the crumpled paper that came with it, it says '"TWO-SIDED COVER FOR VERSALITY" Then in a tiny diagram next to that, it says "COOLING SIDE DISSPATES BODY HEAT" with Dissipates spelled wrong! Where is this thing made? Ah.. "CHINA" on a severely crumpled tag inside the cover. It also says the cover is “70% Polyester 30% Viscose Made from Bamboo”. But the Photo shows "Bamboo" in large green letters on the cover along with "VaVerto" in much LARGER grey letters above that. The only letters on my case are the bottom part of a "b" with two "oo" next to it, in a grey-green color, extending from the side seam. NO actual WORDS at all. And the cover looks identical on both sides. Okay, it's been well over 4 hours in a very warm room, now 80 degrees with the sun pouring in, and it has mostly expanded, but I can still almost touch my fingers together when pinching the thickest part of the pillow, there is still only about ¼” of foam between my fingers. I would describe that as EXTREMELY SOFT. In the actual description of the product, on the Amazon page, if you open the "Features & Specs" it shows "Item Firmness Description - Medium" NOT what the headline says for the product: "Vaverto Small Memory Foam Bed Pillow for Camping - Compressible Medium Firm, Breathable Cover, Machine Washable, Ideal Backpacking". If I weren’t bedridden in a nursing home this would go back immediately, but it is very hard to get the staff here to help me return ANYTHING that needs to be taken to a store or kiosk. So I may just be out $22.07. FINAL Impression: WHAT A MISTAKE THIS WAS! EXTREMELY SOFT, OFFERING NO SUPPORT AT ALL! (PHOTOS ARE NOT ACCURATE to the product!!)

This camping pillow exceeded my expectations! It’s incredibly comfortable, provides great support, and packs down to a very compact size, making it perfect for backpacking. We carried it on an 8-hour hike, and it was absolutely worth the small amount of space and weight. Getting a good night’s sleep in the woods made a huge difference. The compression straps work great, making it easy to pack away. Excellent quality, fairly priced, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone!

I have tried so many pillows over the years it is ridiculous. This is the best pillow I have ever had as it helps with my cervical degenerative disc disease. I used to prop myself up slightly with 2 pillows and have a slight support in my shoulders in order to get some sleep. I would toss and turn all night. I have tried so many different sleeping positions over the years. My quality of sleep was terrible and I always woke up in the morning with a headache which radiated from the back of my head to my forehead. Now I sleep flat on my back with this pillow supporting my head. I have found it to be very important for me, that the edge of the pillow is pushing on the top part of my shoulders. My sleep got better each day. What an amazing difference - I finally get a few hours of quality sleep. My back feels more aligned as well. The pillow is very firm but not hard. During the night I use another pillow when I switch to sleep on my side as this one does not work for me in that position - that pillow took forever to find too! Update: I hardly every give reviews and I originally gave this pillow a glowing review because it was amazing. After using for almost 4 months I am SO disappointed. The pillow got softer and didn't offer the firm support that I loved. As a spot got softer I would use a different area on the pillow. It was great for a couple of weeks then I had to move to another firm spot which was great at first and then became softer. I eventually ran out of firm areas and started using the short sides of the pillow to put my head on. Now I am out of firm areas, and my headaches in the morning are back. I considered buying another one. I paid $99.99 for the pillow on September 1, 2024. But as of today January 1, 2026 the pillow is $118.09! WOW! I would have paid this had the pillow maintained it's firmess for longer - but this is crazy!

I am not allowed to say why I'm not happy! Disappointed all round however!!!!!!.... Do not buy!

Got this for my boyfriend because his bed can get warm and we both can get sweaty. It keeps us cool on the hot nights and he likes stealing it from me because its much comfier than his other pillows

Leider hatte ich hohe Erwartungen durch die vielen positiven Rezensionen. Aber leider wurde ich eher enttäuscht, da das Kissen für diesen Preis eher eine minderwertige Qualität hat. Warum es so teuer ist, kann ich nicht verstehen. Das Innenleben wirkt wie billiger Schaumstoff oder ähnliches. Das Kissen ist sehr flach und bietet nicht die Stützfunktion, die ich brauche. Das Kissen geht daher zurück.
