What is the difference between the clear and the transparent? Seems redundant but I want to make sure I order ones that will be invisible.

Hi, there is no difference in color. One is more (Transparent: 56000Pcs), and the other is less (Clear: 16000Pcs). When you receive the products, they are in a dry state. You need to soak them with water and let them stand for 1-6 hours to get the same product as the picture!

How long will these vase fillers last

These water beads can last for a very long time! In our own tests, these water beads can last at least 3 months when fully filled with water, and can last up to 8 months if these are only used as a vase fillers!

Are these beads transparent when water is added?

Hi, these beads are transparent when they absorb water! It is recommended to soak the beads in water for 2-8 hours before removing. The longer the time, with a maximum of 0.5 inch for longer periods!
