Just Right Sturdiness
I will try to keep this relatively short, but after purchasing a new car I found the standard ring scratches in the layer of paint behind the door handle. In an attempt to fix this I got a dupicolor paint pen, of which I learned applies a high volume of paint to the surface I applied it to. Which lead me to have to wet sand it down to get a mostly clear finish. And this allowed me to sand with relative stability! If you are looking to wet sand yourself here is all I utilized:1. Proper Grit Sandpapers ( https://amzn.to/45Zzv4j )2. Applicator Sponge For Holding the Sandpaper ( https://amzn.to/3XShgM6 )3. Sponge for Applying Polish ( https://amzn.to/3XTMEdb )4. Microfiber Cloth for Drying Car and Cleaning Polish ( https://amzn.to/4eMOPp7 )5. Polish for Returning Shiny Finish ( https://amzn.to/45Uf5tr )If you do go this route hopefully your wet sanding adventure goes well!

Works Well for Wet Sanding of Contoured Automotive Body Surfaces
What can I say? It's a somewhat flexible, somewhat rigid, rubber sanding sponge. It's flexible enough to follow many of the contours of modern automobiles yet rigid enough to distribute hand pressure over the sanding paper. It doesn't absorb water. It gripped the wet backing of the soaked wet-or-dry silicone carbide sanding paper well enough to prevent slippage of the sandpaper relative to the block. I will likely purchase additional products of this type in different [larger] sizes for future automotive and furniture finishing projects.

Soft sanding block
Soft sanding block . Perfect for sanding edges on auto panel's when getting ready to paint for base coat . Also , after painted panel Won’t burn through clear coat when sanding for preparation for buffing. Must have this item for sanding purposes.

Good Product.
I purchased this sanding block to use when wet sanding my car. It has the right firmness for both flat and curved surfaces. It’s also perfectly sized for your palm and to accept the sheets of paper. Great value.

Not a must, but still a helpful item.
I'd rather just use an average sanding block for flat surfaces. Fair use for curved surfaces.
