Like this shredder but I go through one a year.

It doesn't just shred your paper, it turns it into confetti. I LOVE it

Turns paper into confetti, but will quickly need some sort of printer oil as it continues to be used. it's very loud. But for the affordability its worth it.

I was afraid to put more than a few sheets of paper in this shredder. But, it really does shred multiple sheets. I've shredded envelopes, contracts, copy paper and bills. It even shredded checkbooks without jamming. Compact, easy to empty and hold a lot of paper. Easy to assembly. Just set the to on the basket. Very powerful but safe.

Purchased this after the one I bought a couple of months before quit working. It's a must have for properly disposing of the personal paperwork that seems to pile up before you know it. Purchased in hopes of reducing the risk of Identity thief. I use it to dispose of medical papers from doctor ,and hospital visits, prescription papers from the pharmacy, along with paid invoices and even the junk mail telling me I've been approved for their credit card or loan. Although the majority of my bills along with personal information is stored digitally, there are still many items I don't feel comfortable about putting in recycling bin intact. Love how quickly it grabs the pages no matter what shape they are, whether rectangle, circle, or whatever. Can insert a few sheets at a time. It rejects it if I attempt to insert more pages than it can handle rather than taking them and getting overwhelmed by the attempt. Does not make a loud grinding noise like some shredders I've had in the past. Think it's perfect for household use but not sure how it would do in an office environment where large quantities are shredded. While shredding of just a few sheets at a time isn't a problem in a household, might be inefficient in an office environment. Low profile allows it to be kept unnoticed wherever you usually sort through your mail and other papers. Personally I like to sort mail and other papers from the comfort of my recliner in the living room, so my shredder is beside my chair where I can conveniently dispose of unneeded items. Easy to empty into recycling container or bag. Window on the front shows when it's time to empty. I'm very happy with this purchase and recommend to anyone who needs a light use shredder for home. Don't think it would hold up nor was intended for use in an office environment when the volume of papers to be shredded is much higher. Primarily since it would be inefficient to be able to shred only a few pages at a time. I'm very happy with my purchase as it perfectly meds my needs.

I only write reviews if an item is very good or very bad. This Bonsaii shredder is very very bad. I have purchased and used several paper shredders over the years. I have never had one that performs this poorly. I bought it because there were so many good reviews. Maybe the one I got is defective. There is no way to know. It just doesn't do what it says it will do and that is frustrating. I have used this shredder for three days. It is very slow when it is actually working. In three days I have not finished a half of a business box of paper. It overheats. It clogs. It sometimes just stops shredding for no obvious reason. Someone said it works best in reverse.....true but not helpful for shredding. It is supposed to handle up to 10 sheets of paper. With two sheets it acts like it is going to quit. I am down to shredding only one sheet at a time. It is supposed to handle credit cards. One credit card made it stop shredding and refuse to take a sheet of paper until I cleaned it out. It overheats before the bin is full so I have to stop and let it cool for a couple of hours before I can continue shredding. I have never used this Bonsaii brand before and will never use it again. I threw away the box so I can't return it. I'm trying to baby it through the rest of the papers I have to shred in that box. But, as soon as I am able to, I will buy another brand and throw this one in the trash where it belongs. I had to give it one star. There is no lower rating. The one star is because the basket is large enough but very cheaply made. Update: On the 4th day of use it finally died. I threw it away.

I had to buy this fast to replace my other one that broke down and this one has been a workhorse. Shredding is quiet and fast. You can put multiple sheets of paper. Great so far!
