KuaiLu Mens Orthotic Recovery Sandals Arch Support Slides Plantar Fasciitis

These have really helped my Plantars Fasciitis…The arch support is great. Delivery was fast and customer service was top notch. I easily returned the 12’s and the 13’s were here in a couple of days.

I've dealt with a chronic ankle injury for years, and surgery has even been suggested more than once. One of the best things I've found for reducing discomfort around the house has been wearing supportive recovery sandals instead of going barefoot. I originally wore OOFOS sandals because they were recommended, and while they were comfortable, they squeaked constantly on my floors and wore down fairly quickly on one side. I decided to give these KuaiLu sandals a try, and they've been a fantastic replacement. I'm not a foot specialist, so I can only speak from my own experience, but these have made a real difference for me. They provide great support, they're comfortable enough to wear all day around the house, and I've noticed far less ankle and foot discomfort since switching to them. They're also quiet, durable, and have held up much better than I expected. I liked them so much that I ended up buying two pairs, one for indoors and another that I now wear outside as well. Both have been excellent. If you're looking for supportive recovery sandals and deal with foot or ankle discomfort like I do, these are absolutely worth considering. They've been one of the best purchases I've made for everyday comfort.

Functionality & Arch Support We don’t wear outdoor shoes inside the house, and our entire downstairs is hard tile. As a heavier guy, walking barefoot on tile gets painful quickly. The thick cushioning and pronounced orthotic arch support on these slides make a huge difference in reducing heel and foot strain. In terms of sheer immediate relief and underfoot comfort, they are hard to beat. Fit & Size Initial Fit: Out of the box, they fit comfortably with a nice, wide footbed and deep heel cup. Stretch Over Time: After about a year of indoor wear, the upper strap material has stretched out noticeably. They now feel loose on my feet, causing my foot to shift while walking, which means it’s time to replace them. Installation & Usability (Everyday Routine) The slide design makes slipping them on and kicking them off completely effortless at entryways or bedside. They easily replaced standard slippers for moving around the house. Durability & Longevity This is where my main criticism lies: Lifespan Under Light Use: Even though I wear them daily, it’s only for light steps around the house. Having the strap stretch out within a year feels a bit short for the price. Heat/Sun Sensitivity: This is actually my second pair. My first pair was left outside on the patio by my wife under direct sunlight, and the EVA material shrank so significantly that they were completely ruined and had to be thrown out. Keep them strictly indoors and away from high heat. Summary If you need thick, plush arch support for walking on hard indoor floors, these offer great relief. Just be aware of their sensitivity to direct sun and plan on replacing them after about a year once the strap stretches out.

I have gone through so many pairs of sandals over the years in trying to find a comfortable pair that have a nice look to them but more importantly the mechanics to support the foot properly where needed so it can do its job in the way it's supposed to. You don't think that would be such a hard thing to find until you injure yourself and find yourself in pain on a near constant basis. I have three herniated discs, one protrusion and spinal stenosis coupled with sciatica in both legs courtesy of a motorbike accident years back. Needless to say, shoes are a very important commodity when it comes to proper posture and pain relief or at least subsiding as much as it can in correct stance. I previously had found the Skechers slides to be very comfortable the ones with the extra cushion. However, I noticed after time that standing still in them for too long or being out and about running errands for two big of a period of time my back would start to ache before I knew it. I had a pair prior to those of recovery slides. Just like these that I'm reviewing now where they are supportive and cushioned but the cushion is more solid so you are not stepping on a pillow as much as your stepping on a solid piece of earth. These are luckily just like the original I had in their design and I find these extremely comfortable. They have a good arch support to them and when I wear these around while trying to check off a million things for my list or if I do need to stand in line in place somewhere for a longer periods my back - while it's still hurts - It doesn't ache as quickly or as deeply. I am not saying at all that these are a cure all or the answer to sciatica. But I will say that I am a guy that lives in Florida and I work from home. So if I don't have to wear shoes I'm not going to and the next best thing is having a nice pair of slides to easily slip into and get you out the door. These are perfect in that respect. They're comfortable and they're not bad looking either. After owning a pair I have to say I don't care what they look like. I would wear them anyway. That's how impressed I am. Also, I will note that I'm leaving this review on a pair that is now my second. I enjoyed them so much. The first time I purchased that I had to buy a backup pair. This is definitely something that is going to remain in my shopping list essentials as long as they make them. And for you larger men out there, thankfully they come in a wide variety of sizes. Normally in a shoe I wear a size 14 and I did purchase these in a 14 but they were not as comfortable and felt like they ran a little small. So I purchased a 15 - It blew my mind that they even carried a size 15 because anyone who has bigger feet knows that is hard to find - But the 15 was perfect. I would definitely recommend sizing up if you're in between and I highly recommend just picking up a pair and giving them a shot because you'll definitely be pleasantly surprised and happy with your purchase.

I bought these to wear around the house. For me, the fit is just right. They conform to my feet and stay in place without being too snug. The thick sole took a little getting used to, but now that they're broken in, so to speak, they feel very natural, and they are incredibly comfortable.

This is my second pair. First Pair: 5 Stars I left the first pair, which I still use (since 2023), at my mom's house overseas to avoid constantly packing/unpacking/transatlantic four+ times every year. Cons: They are way too long, a bit narrow (like most shoes for me). I constantly stumble in them becasue they are way too long but not wide enough for my feet Pros: extremely comfortable and helped so much with the plantar fasciitis.. After a while they softened and my foot went in further and the fit improved. They look almost new after 3 1/2 years. Second Pair: 3 Stars The second pair of sandals are much Harder and Smaller than the exact same brand/model/color/size I already own. There is an unglued part on the back left foot which causes an audible scritch sound and the smaller size causes a whistle/fart like sound on both sides. I plan to re-order and hope for a better result. The second pair is too hard and not suitable as a solution for my plantar fasciitis. The manufacturer definitely changed the material, build quality, and the fit of this product.

I ordered these to help with a heel bruise and they really do help. I first ordered my standard shoe size and they were much too big. Its best to use their size chart.

I bought these men’s sandals instead of replacing my wornout Oofos. The KuaiLu is a good sandal in its class but it is not in the same class as Oofos, in my opinion. The KuaiLu is a good walk around sandal for me but only short trips like around the house, to take the dogs out to the backyard or to the mailbox. I do not see myself wearing these all day. They are very stiff, fit very snug against the dorsal of my foot and do not give or stretch. I have worn them daily (on my feet) for a total of 1-2 hours per day for the past two weeks. They just don’t break in easily. They are strong to hold up but the flip side is they are not very comfortable to wear. They leave read marks along the medial side of my first toe, across the dorsal of my foot and my fifth toe. Some of this is attributed to ordering one size down as many customers suggested. They fit in length properly going down one size. Overall I would rate this sandal good for the price, expect what you pay and, note if you are a Oofos wearer these will not compare or satisfy you. I will keep these for outside wear as mentioned above but I will order my Oofos now for the full comfort I want when I get home from work to relax and be in comfort shoes and clothes.
