I love the clean “modern farmhouse” design of this alphabet and number line set. It adds a warm, organized look to the learning space while still being very functional.The reason why I decided to buy this letters for my son is because are clear and easy to read, and the number line is helpful for quick reference during math practice. It’s a nice visual support for phonics and early number skills without feeling overwhelming on the wall.The cardstock feels sturdy, and the print quality is crisp. Overall, it’s a great combination of classroom décor and practical learning support.

I looked through many alphabet products on Amazon. I chose this because the letters are dark and obvious, and the pictures that go with them are real pictures not cartoons.I'm trying to teach my 2 year old letters, and I came across a lot of busy and overly artistic alphabet products. Yes those might look cool but when trying to teach the LETTER I don't need the confusion of wild colors, shapes, and other objects in there as well.I'm also teaching my 2 year old objects and I think that having an actual picture of the object is better for learning than a cartoon drawing.My daughter really likes the pictures, and she knows the ABC song, and is having fun singing the song along with the letters on this alphabet on her wall. She has learned all the objects pictured and has a blast pointing to them and naming them.

Exactly as expected. Great size for a classroom. The picture quality and clear and crisp. No adhesives provided, as expected, so you will need to plan to have something. The cursive is a great for learning. It’s large enough to be at the top of my classroom and the kids can refer to it.

As a retired kindergarten and first grade teacher, I sometimes tutor children (and even adults) that need some help with reading. SOME never made the association that words are made up of letters and each letter has its own sound. By sounding out the letters in the unknown word, one can "figure out" that unknown word AUTOMATICALLY as they read.The most important skill for beginning readers is decoding words. That means looking at the letters of a new unknown word, figuring out the sound each letter makes, "sounding out the word phonetically", and putting those SOUNDS together to DECODE the word.That's how I was taught to read in the early 1960s. Many baby boomers and subsequent students learned the same way. Then came "whole language learning" where you just learned each "whole word" to read.This "whole language" approach to reading bypassed and de-emphasized phonics (sounding out the letters in words) to a generation of students which is why SOME adults may not read as well or as quickly as others. Some folks just "figured out how to read all on their own" but others did not.Thankfully the phonics approach, learning to associate the sounds of letters to "read" unknown words made a very dramatic comeback and is now taught in early grades in schools.However, the COVID shutdown of schools means that many children did NOT learn the basics of learning letters/sounds ("sounding out the word") through the necessary daily practice in their kindergarten/first grade classrooms. Now some students are struggling to "catch up" in their current upper classrooms.A great solution is tutoring for students of all ages which can help create and inspire better readers!That's where this particular product can help! I used a similar set in my classroom for 20 years and I now use this set when tutoring to teach letters and sounds associations. We make a game of singing a song with the NAME of each letter, the SOUND(s) of each letter, and the associated PICTURE for each letter sound.(example: "Apple, apple, short sound for /a/" repeated twice. Then "Ankle, ankle, long sound for /a/" repeated twice. Then repeat for each letter of the alphabet. Go through the song at least 2 times a day.)Learners then can automatically decode and sound out new/unknown words when they are reading. It makes learning fun and automatic for readers of ALL AGES!!!This set of letter/sound/picture cards is a FANTASTIC tool to help with learning! Learners can hold them in there hands as they sing the song or they can be displayed on the wall of their home.

I was concerned I would have a hard time removing them from our wall if I used them as wall stickers. I went ahead and laminated them so that they can last longer. I would have liked an option of having them on card stock. I just like my posters to be a bit thicker than this product. Or perhaps have a pierced edge between letters so that they are easy to rearrange without the use of scissors. Regardless, I am satisfied with our first alphabet wall. I love the bright colors. My toddler enjoys going over the letter sounds!

I hail from a low-income family; unfortunately, the majority of Americans do as well. It was cheaper to purchase the banner and cut it into cards; because I didn't like how the card version of the banner the way it cut off the pictures. I have a one-year-old boy. We do a lot of flashcard learning. I was looking for cards that were large enough for the infant/toddler brain but also included manuscript so that when he learned to write, it would appear precisely the same. I also wanted cards with authentic photographs of daily stuff. You would think that large cards with real photos and content would be easy to obtain in children's cards. It wasn't. Many don't carry the white background with pictures. It helps the child to focus. All flashcards, even those with real photographs, do not include the manuscript aspect of how the alphabets appear on a tracing background. This banner was the closest.Now, if you are not good with cutting ✂️ don't even do it just get the flashcard version of this banner. But, if you are like me and like the tracing background with the letters for future use maybe this works for you.The other bonus is having the extra phonic sound cards that came with the banner that the flashcard version of this do not have. Hope this helps. In the future I hope they make flashcard version with the tracing background in big size, so I wouldn't have to use a banner.

These were very easy to put up and move around without damaging the wall, it took a few tries before we got them in the perfect spot. The only down side is they were pretty banged up when they got here BUT once we put them on the wall you could not even tell. It was just a pain to peel them off the cards sense they were all crinkled up. I think if they were put in a cardboard sleeve for shipping rather than loose in a box it would fix this problem.They shipped super fast, would buy again.We also have a slight texture to our walls, I was a little nervous they would not cling. But they stuck just fine and look great!

I chose this alphabet above others for several reasons. First, the letters are large and are written on primary lines which is essential for students learning letter placement. Next, I chose this one because of the crisp unmistakable photos that accompany each letter and the words for the images which are typed plainly beside them. I was very pleased when I received this alphabet because the paper was glossy and thick and stood up well to laminating which was recommended by the manufacturer. It also included number images which were a bonus. I recommend this alphabet highly. One note: I replaced the xylophone with a fox since "x" most often makes the "ks" sound. Even so, this was the best classroom alphabet I could find online anywhere.

These were beautiful for my middle school classroom. I didn't end up even using the posters, just the lovely cursive lettering line across the top of my board.
