Dream to Cook With
Been using this and other Hexclad pans for about 6 months now and love them! Light years beyond old-school ordinary non-stick pans. - The small beaded design keeps metal from scratching the coating, and it really works. I mostly use plastic, but come on, it's still easy to stack them and use metal and not worry about the finish. - They are truly non-stick. I've cooked some crazy messy meals in these and scorched sauces and meats. Honestly, the pans clean up easily without a trace. The proof is, I may need to scrub burnt food off of the stainless trim, but the non-stick part always comes clean with minimal effort. - The heating is even, to me, they are similar to cooking with cast iron where you may need to turn the heat down compared to other pans. Food cooks even a the edges of the pans. - So far, no warping. I even glaze them once in awhile as part of the recipe and they hold their shape perfectly. Yeah, they're pricey, but worth it. I bough piecemeal, except for this set. Now I have all the pans, I need to start saving for some pots. These are a game changer.

Expensive Yes, But Worth It IMO
This is my honest opinion of the Hexclad 3 piece Fran pans with lids. Prior to this purchase, I was really skeptical about these pans because of the cost versus benefits. And the bad reviews and failures of the first generation. I saw that the three pan set was on sale, bit the bullet, purchased them and proceeded to season them and put them to the test. Prior to this purchase, I was using the Ninja Foodie cookware and cast iron, which worked fine for me for so many years. And those pans werenโt exactly cheap either. After cooking fish, eggs, sausages and chicken in the two big pans, Iโm impressed and amazed. First off, any claims that these are NOT non stick is false and probably made by people that donโt know how to season and use a fry pan properly. The evenness of the heating across the pan is impressive, meaning there were no hot spots for me. But the most amazing part for me was, with all the cooking I did, I never went above medium heat on an electric stovetop, and most was done at medium low. There is a learning curve here with using these pans. My first attempt at sausages came out on the burntโฆ.ummโฆ I mean on the slightly overcooked side. But once you figure it out, youโll be impressed on how quickly they heat up and how evenly they cook. The chicken, eggs and fish came out perfect. It says these pans are dishwasher safe, but at this price point, Iโll hand wash mine, which was a breeze once they cooled down. And I have not used these in the oven. Iโll keep using my cast irons for that. In conclusion, yes these pans are expensive. But they are really good quality pans in my opinion. And if you know how to properly use and care for a fry pan you will enjoy these. I ended up dumping the Foodie pans. But sorry Hexclad, I will never part with my cast iron. ๐

Worth the money
These are super sturdy pans that clean up beautifully after super messy cooking. I wish Iโd bought them sooner! The only problem I have is that they are so non-stick that my food slips TOO quickly out of the pan when serving. HA! We liked them so much that we bought more as a gift.

Maybe the worst of both worlds (edited review)
The honeymoon is well over here and here's what I think now, 4 years after purchase. HexClad has changed a few things over the years, most notably how the pans are made and how they are advertised. Let's talk about "non-stick" first. You might remember the viral TikTok ads for these pans that showed people blowing eggs off the surface to show exactly how non-stick they are. Slowly, HexClad has changed how that feature is advertised to something like "the convenience of non-stick" or "the easy cleanup of non-stick". To their credit, the pans really do clean up pretty easily like you'd expect from a non-stick pan. But can you really blow eggs off their surface with almost no oil? Nope. These are about as non-stick as a stainless pan provided you use copious amounts of oil/fat and heat them probably higher than you should. And you're going to need to use a lot more oil/fat than you would with a stainless because of the hydro/oleophobic nature of the surface. Oil does not spread out like it would on a stainless or carbon steel surface. If you're looking to cook a french omelette be prepared to use a ton of butter. Better yet, just get a decent, purely non-stick pan. New coating: HexClad has also quietly changed the way these pans are manufactured and the coating used in 2024. They now are made with a ceramic non-stick coating that is PFAS free because of the class action lawsuit. This is notable when you compare the heat tolerance of the old pans to the new. They are now oven-safe up to 900F. The earlier pans were only oven-safe up to 500F. Even with the new coating's rating up to 900F in the oven, they still recommend medium-low stovetop heat or you will burn food in the non-stick valleys and degrade the pan's performance over time. So you'd think that HexClad would have offered upgrades to their pans with this new, safer coating, right? Nope. Claimants in the lawsuit got pennies on the dollar. I got roughly 1/10 of the purchase price of my complete set of pots, pans, and other pieces. About enough to cover the cost of a single 8" stainless pan. Let's talk about searing foods. Kinda hard to do on medium-low stovetop heat. You certainly can crank up the heat, just note what I mentioned above about burning food and degrading the pan's performance over time. You won't get fond, and that is the real compromise here. A stainless pan will get you a great sear AND fond that you can use to build flavor. One last issue: the handles. I really wanted to like the handle design because aren't the All-Clad handles just goofy and uncomfortable? Real use of the HexClad pans and pots revealed their handles' weakness: they turn in your hands, especially when there's moisture or grease involved. I can't tell you how many times I've nearly dumped the contents because my hands were wet, greasy, or both. They are, in fact, a dangerous handle design. All-Clad or Made-In handles are far superior. In the end, three things made me abandon this entire set: 1. They are NOT non-stick. 2. The whole lawsuit about toxicity, the way they handled compensation, and their quiet move to "improved" coatings. 3. The quality of the results is the worst of both the non-stick and stainless worlds. I have moved to a quality set of stainless, carbon steel, and non-stick pans and use the right tool that the particular task calls for. And quite honestly, my non-stick pans, which are 100% non-stick in every way HexClad isn't, are really only used for re-heating food or delicate egg dishes on low heat. I use the stainless and carbon steel for 98% of my cooking needs and have no worries about toxicity and my food is more delicious for it. Sold my full HexClad set on craigslist for $200 because that's as much as anyone is willing to pay for these things. They aren't heirlooms like a good stainless set.

Best Pans Ever, Must Buy These First!
Okay, so I first ordered the Titanium pans which also says non-sticking and great quality, DO NOT BUY THEM!!! They did not meet the expectations of food cooking, eggs & potatoes stuck to the pans even when I used oil. DO BUY HEX CLAD these pans are awesome. But the price!!! I know, but they are well worth it and save time and trouble. These pans are excellent quality and for cooking. I am just amazed with them. Remember, you do get what you pay for, don't go cheap, go ahead and by Hex Clad and get over with, you will be glad you did and have a lifetime of enjoyment in cooking.

Day One and I'm Already Impressed ๐ณโจ
I just received these pans this afternoon and couldn't wait to try them out. I registered them, washed them with warm soapy water, seasoned them as recommended, and used them to cook dinner the same evening. My first impression is extremely positive. The chicken cooked beautifully, and I even made a small batch of Spanish rice just to test how the pans performed. Everything came out great, and I was especially impressed that nothing stuck to the surface. For my cooking, I kept the heat at medium or below, and the pans performed exceptionally well. So far, I absolutely love them. Cleanup was easy, the cooking performance was excellent, and the pans feel great to use. Of course, this is only day one, so time will tell how they hold up long-term. I cook frequently, so these pans will get plenty of use. If my opinion changes after several months, I'll come back and provide an update, but right now I'm very happy with this purchase.

Simply amazing
I was looking for the safest options for frying pans that work on our new induction cooktop, and that will LAST. We've tried SO many others over the years, but eventually they scratched no matter how careful we were. So I decided to splurge on these and see if they are worth the hype, and they are 100%. So nonstick, easy to clean, they heat evenly on much lower settings, and brown and sear beautifully. We LOVE the investment.

You wonโt regret this decision! Go for it all!
I deliberately waited before writing this review. I wanted to be certain I wasnโt simply being a fanboy because Gordon Ramsay endorses the brand. I needed my own, honest opinionโand here it is. I have a background in culinary arts and have lived a hard life in professional kitchens. For years, my wife selected our cookware, then understandably complained that I was destroying it. She wasnโt wrong. For over two decades, I cooked on Pampered Chef Pro cookware and hated every minute of it. I even had an entire set replaced under warrantyโonly to destroy the replacement as well. We were trapped, having spent thousands of dollars on cookware that simply couldnโt handle real cooking. When I first read reviews of the original generation of HexClad, I hesitated. I had no interest in being burned againโespecially by cookware potentially made with questionable chemicals. So I paused. When I learned HexClad had redesigned and improved their products, I decided to give them a serious look. Cooking with these pans instantly transported me back to my line cook daysโwhen you know, without question, that youโre holding true professional-grade equipment. Using them honestly feels like a Jedi wielding a lightsaber. The pans have a solid, medium-heavy weight that inspires confidence, comparable to cast iron in strength, yet without the downsides. They deliver a flawless sear without devouring your food. Heat control is exceptionalโsteady at high temperatures and responsive at low. Most importantly, they cook evenly, which is a complete game changer when your family is accustomed to fine-dining quality meals at home. There are no more excuses about inferior cookware in this kitchen. Bottom line: these pans are not cheapโbut they are absolutely worth the money. The quality lives up to the hype. If youโre on the fence, stop shopping. Donโt buy anything else. This is it.

Excellent Product! Excellent Warranty!
Wow!! Incredible customer support and product warranty. I purchased 3 pans, 2 of which I loved. One pan always seemed to stick in the middle. After sending photos of the pan and serial number, Hexclad support sent an email stating that a replacement pan is on its way. Very impressed with the timely response to my concern about the pan.
