Amazing sharpening stones! They work very well for sharpening wood working tools after a bit of practice. They remove material quickly and leave a very fine edge. My only complaint is that they are very thin so they are difficult to hold in a jig (I found clamping them to a table works best). I found that you can get away with the #400, #800, and #1200 to sharpen the blade to a good level. The size of the plates means I can transport them easily.

These are amazing for the price, i did make a non slip block to attach them to. There thin, but they work great, (ive been sharpening stones since working at a meatworks 40 years ago) don't waste your money on them kit ones, these will make it easier to sharpen and last much much longer. Mainly use the 400 then 1000

These work well if you use a bit of patience and build the muscle memory to hold the proper angles on specific knives.

Works well on more basic blades, set the angle and remember to use the same number of strokes on each side of the blade so the edge is centered on the blade. for finer blade edges consider 1000 grit or finer. (Sushi knives... meat too)
