STYLE This corset is absolutely gorgeous! It is a beautiful smooth satin, which makes it look almost gold. It looks absolutely beautiful on. It is super sexy, not only do I plan on wearing it under my wedding dress but I'm gong to style my wedding night lingerie around it! QUALITY I have bought corsets online for much more than the $12 this one cost, and they were such gross, cheap material that was closer to big-box halloween costumes. But this one feels like it should cost $75. The laces aren't super super soft, but you can tell they are very strong and they are the flat type of ribbons that you want in a corset for under clothes/dresses/etc.. SIZE I ordered a size large. For reference, I am 5'0", approx. 145 lbs (I'm trying to lose 15 lbs before my wedding), a 36D bra, 31" waist, and 43" hip. I'm short and curvy! I wanted this to help flatten out my lower stomach chub since my wedding dress is VERY fitted. It fits very very well, I think I could've gotten an XL (there is a bit of space in the back that the fabric behind the laces does not cover), but hopefully with the weight I am aiming to lose before the wedding, it will be perfect. But if not, it is definitely still wearable for sure! UNDER CLOTHES It defines my waist, smooths out my stomach and is not super bulky at all. I was worried about the front clasps/hooks being super visible but they BARELY stick out. With a thick enough slip, I don't think any lines will be visible under my fitted satin dress. COMFORT This is a VERY comfortable corset - I can breathe easily, sit comfortably, bend over, and more without any issues at all. It does not feel like it would ride up after a night of dancing at all. I've had several other pieces of shapewear that get the same job done, but I would be counting down the minutes until I could get home and take them off...this one is not suffocating, I feel like I may forget it's even on! Overall, I am so impressed and shocked with the amazing quality of this corset and I can't wait to order more.

I used to wear this thing everywhere, I wore it under my prom dress, under my homecoming dress, I wore to the wedding fair, I wore it just because I felt like wearing a corset. I’m not a professional, but I feel like it could be used for waist training.

I am (pleasantly!) shocked at the quality of this corset for the price. I have purchased historically accurate corsets in the past for ten times the amount I paid for this, and I'm shocked to say that this one is a decent knock-off. I won't lie, I bought this because of the prime shipping- I needed it that week to start rehearing a period show (1890s). From the price I expected to wear it once or twice and have it give out, or not have it fit well. I'm pleased to say I was completely wrong. Don't misunderstand me, it's not the craftsmanship of my expensive repros. It's not lined, and I highly recommend wearing some kind of washable undershirt underneath it. I did break a nail on the busk opening the first time I tried it on; it can be difficult to hook them properly, but once you get them right and you're laced in, they're not going anywhere. I'm not expecting this to last years, and I don't think it would survive the washing machine, but I've worn it for a month of daily rehearsals and a full performance run and it's still kicking. For the price, I don't mind if I end up needing to buy another one down the line. (The "thong" is a joke, btw. But I didn't buy it for that- I didn't even know it came with one- so it just went in the trash)

FYI I’m using my dads account, but the corset is great! Even better that I didn’t have to pay for it (my dad did)! I recommend getting a size smaller if you want to tight-lace it (like I did). It’s pretty good and wasn’t as uncomfortable as I expected it to be. Tight lacing is when you intentionally lace your corset too tight to have a more dramatic waist reduction, and the corset wasn’t that uncomfortable with the tight lacing! Of course if you don’t right lace you’ll barely notice you’re wearing a corset because it’s more comfortable. Anyways, the color was more champagne than ivory but that’s okay. This is an undergarment after all and it won’t be seen under my clothes.

Great corset for price. It has a solid front busk (feels like steel), however the boning is not. It's plastic. This is NOT for waist training or daily wear, but if you need it as outerwear or to wear as a foundation garment for a high wasted outfit it does a great job. Easy to put on and tighten by yourself. Follow the size chart! This runs very small. If you want to use it to reduce your waist measurement by 1 - 2 inches, Size down one size. All in all, I highly recommend.
