TP-Link Powerline WiFi Extender- AC1200 Dual Band Network Extender

I use this product in a utility room which lacks any Rj45 Ethernet connections and it’s functioning perfectly. It was easy to install and configure as an add-on to my existing TP-Link AV2000s and it has been very reliable.

I own the kit to get Wifi into my garage and it works great. So well, I decided to get another extender to kick up the speed of my weak wifi signal where the PS4 is located. However, the weak wifi was better than the signal from the outlet 5 feet away. In looking back through the house, the origin unit is two circuit breakers away (one main and one sub panel) from the outlet by the PS4. The Verizon router was pushing 60-80 and the extender 20-25. If you have a straight run or a dead zone, these work great. Beyond that YMMV based on your electrical setup. (I could have an electrician fix that, however for less money I could have cat5/6 run to the room).

The online video's illustrating how to set these power line adapter up was very good. Used them as directed and not problems. So much nicer than the D-Link products I had used in the past.

Rather than pairing with the devices on my network, it kept pairing devices that were previously on my network with IT. So nothing worked. I’ll update if / when this gets straightened out, but in the meantime the only instructions I keep finding are to hit the “pair” buttons on the devices and “they’ll magically just work!” Except they’re not. More straightforward directions how to access next-level assignment of network info would be great. I’m digging for those, but not finding any so far. I know they’re out there somewhere, but more just frustrated at this point.

Amazing produc if you have the router in a position not so helpful for the entire space, house or apartment. Easy to install and to config.

I lost some time because the unit needed to be reset. Would be helpful to anticipate this issue in the instructions. Support was actually great. Rommel was easy to work with, patient and informed. Thank you!

needed support to find the correct product - they responded and gave help and excellent instructions - I was able to purchase the correct device from TP-Link and when it was installed the device performed "as advertised" - I've been a TP-Link customer and will continue.

this thing was terribly hard to get going. honestly probably should have sent it back. really only works well in a single socket closest to the main box. just barely sends enough signal to my office. so.. two star since it does work but it literally took two days to get working.

Not suitable for sale in the UK. Has an American style plug and is incompatible with UK electrical wiring. Scan computers sell the UK version of this item.

Works great as there has been no service interruptions since installed.
