Fresh Wave Odor Eliminator Packs, 6-Pk for Small Spaces & Closets, Lemon

If you want something that really does absorb odors in closets and bathrooms or under the kitchen sink, these are handy little packets which go anywhere as long as they are out-of-reach of pets and kids. I used push pins to attach them higher up on the inside of my bedroom closet, then I put a lemon one in a bathroom and another lemon one by the garbage can back inside the cupboard. What I notice after a day is definite reduction in negative scents and a light breezy scent in each place I put them. The scent of the lavender one is perfect for relaxing spaces like a bedroom and the lemon one is amazing for a fresh clean scent in bathrooms and kitchens. The look of the packets is just neutral to me. They all look like a little mesh bag with scented beads in them. I used disposable gloves when handling them as I was putting them up in different places. I probably would have ordered them with a pod had I known about that first but the push pins work great too! I do not think these are overly scented, just mildly scented. I think they do more in absorbing scents than they do releasing them too much. A nice combination of practicality and convenience. These go in some super smelly work shoes and they work so well! The stink no longer fills the room. They've also lasted much longer than the 15-30 days that Fresh Wave states.

I put off tying this product for some time because the idea that a bag of little beady things could actually absorb odors, rather than just try to cover them up, seemed a little too good to be true. I also balked a little at the price tag. However, after trying a bunch of sprays in (unsuccessful) attempts to cover the smells of trash cans, laundry baskets, and kitty litter boxes, I figured that I might as well give these a try. I am glad that I did. These things really do absorb odors and clear the air of bad smells. They have a little scent themselves, but do not just cover up the bad smells with a different smell, they actually reduce odors and do so to a significant degree. I now use them regularly. I only have two quibbles: The first is the price, which is not too high, but higher than regular sprays. And, in my house, I find that I must replace them every two months or so. Your experience may be different, of course. Second, the scent that the Fresh Wave sachets have is not bad, but not terribly pleasing either, especially for the first week or so after setting them out. (I prefer the lavender, as that scent seems milder and more pleasant to me.) Those two minor issues aside, I am sold on this product and will continue to use it in my home and car.

I gave this product a fair try, and while it does work to some extent, it wasn't impressive enough for me to repurchase. The lavender scent is pleasant, light, and more floral than sweet, which I appreciated. It's not overpowering and doesn't smell artificial. However, the fragrance is very subtle, and in my experience, it doesn't last very long. I noticed the effectiveness gradually fading after a few weeks, and I don't think it lasted much beyond a month. If you're looking for a very mild scent and a gentle odor-control option for small spaces, it may work well for you. But if you're expecting strong odor elimination or long-lasting performance, you may find it a bit underwhelming. Overall, it's not a bad product—it just didn't stand out enough for me to purchase again.

I love these little packs. I put them in all dresser drawers. I’m sending my son off to college with some too. The scent is refreshing and long lasting.

Found a dresser on Facebook marketplace for a really good price but it came with an old antique smell. After putting it in my room, the smell took over the entire room. Looked around the internet and Reddit said to try this, and I’m glad I did. The pack came with 6 and I put one in each drawer. Can’t say how long it’ll last as I just received the product, but first day in and the smell is barely there anymore. I got the classic smell and it’s very subtle, you can smell it but it’s not irritating my senses. I also have a baby and animals in the room and they seem to not be bothered by it one bit. I went out of my house for a few hours, came back and the scent is pretty much gone. Would recommend!

I honestly hated these. I was looking for something that eliminated odor, but the smell of these things is SO strong that just overpowers my drawer and now I have to air it out and rewash everything. Might be good for shoes or something else, but the scent is just way too strong for me. Almost chemical. Burns my nose hairs.

So far, so good. Seems to work well. I bought it for my cat's litter tray and it does keep the bad smell away

my child’s diaper bin was becoming unbearable with smell everytime I opened it to put a diaper in or change the bag. these not only absorbed the smell (i placed two in the bottom of the bin) but also give off a fresh and light lavender scent. they are a bit pricey, but they work well and last long. i also appreciate that the brand is safe for children so i don’t have to worry about toxins. 10/10 recommend. would be nice if they can lower the price eventually.
