Good news! They are only in English BUT you don't even need the instructions. There are all sorts of patterns to make and so you don't even need to read anything if you don't know English, just try to make the patterns that are shown.

Is there a way to order extra pieces? My daughter lost some of hers.

You can definitely write to Smart Games and get extra pieces. I am a teacher in NH and from time to time I inventory the puzzles in my classroom and last year this puzzle and a couple of my other puzzles from Smart Games were missing pieces so I sent them an email and they sent me all the pieces that had been lost.
