I purchased the mango flavor multiple times so when it was time to restock, I decided to live a little. You know go outside my comfort zone. I chose the cool lime flavor and it tastes like crushed medicine and battery acid. So nasty. Neither one dissolves easily, but that’s not a problem for me.

I’ve tried several essential amino acid products, and Kion Essential Aminos is one of my favorites. The taste is pleasant, making it easy to take consistently. It mixes well, no clumping, and avoids the overly sweet, artificial flavor common in many amino products. It’s a good value in comparison to competitors. Really wanted to like this, and have no doubt that it is helping me run long distances - it has all the right ingredients. Even knocking it back as quickly as possible in orange juice, I just can’t get past the intensity of the flavor, and have trouble keeping it down during the run (Even as someone whose routine is filled with oddly flavored powders and supplements) I’m going to try really hard to finish the jar, but am not likely to buy again. If you’re able to tolerate sharp bitter flavors, then this product gets 5 stars 🤷🏼‍♀️

I would recommend this to anyone over the age of 40, it helps with muscle recovery after exercise or just strenuous work, it also helps break down good protein in foods so your body can metabolise it better.

Tried the mango flavor today, my first time using this brand. I should’ve listened to the reviews. The flavor is not very good. We’ll see if it helps with energy or recovery. My favorite is 1st Phorm, Blueberry Lemon, but my supplier was out of it, so I thought I would try this.
