Dermasolve Psoriasis & Dandruff Oil, Dermatologist Approved for Flaky Scalp Relief

I have been suffering from severe scalp psoriasis coupled with seborrhea for over 10 years. Unless you’ve experienced my level of uncontrollable and constant itch, pain, and the gross appearance bought on by such severe conditions, you cannot imagine how torturous the condition truly can me. Quite frankly up until recently my condition has left just this side of suicidal.For background, I’ve tried UV treatments, steroids, specialist steroid scalp weave needle injections, dermatologist prescribed Clobetasol Propionate, Triamcinolone Acetone, and even more with no relief. In fact these expensive prescription products didn’t even put a dent in my condition.Then five weeks ago I was so very fortunate to try the combination of overnight Dermasolve Psoriasis Scalp Oil treatment followed by shampooing out the loosened plaque via morning shower with Scalp Psoriasis, Seborrheic Dermatitis & Dandruff Shampoo Plus Conditioner also by DermaSolve. These two products are then followed by the post-shampoo Jojoba Oil treatment and a blow dry. Do this treatment for 3 days and your life will return to you. I kid you not.I was initially skeptical of the twin pack packaging of the products and the cost thinking I would sooner just try one container of each to see how well it worked before committing to a larger supply. The reality is you will need at least two bottles of each to get you started. I now use these three products daily.MY ROUTINE IS AS BELOW:1. Apply a liberal supply of Dermasolve Psoriasis Scalp Oil early in the evening, massage it in and just let it soak into your scalp. Do not wash this out until your morning shampoo. (Note, when you go to bed you will want to either cover your pillow with a towel or wear a shower cap over the oil soaked scalp or you will leave a mess on your pillow case and pillow. Tip, if you find you are uncomfortable with the oil soaked scalp later into the night, do your best to not scratch it. Instead apply even more oil and massage it into the scalp with your fingertips doing your best to not use your finger-NAILS!2. First thing in the morning, shower and shampoo using the Scalp Psoriasis, Seborrheic Dermatitis & Dandruff Shampoo Plus Conditioner also by DermaSolve. This will yield good results but personally I’ve found it helps even more if you follow the Dermasolve Shampoo Conditioner with a Tea Tree infused conditioner. On the latter, I found “Head & Shoulders – Hair and Scalp – Instant Relief Conditioner with Tea Tree & Peppermint offers extra relief plus it makes your hair easier to comb out post shampoo.3. Finally follow this all with 1.5 to 2 full droppers of Jojoba Oil dripped into the most irritated areas of your scalp. After dripping it in you then massage the Jojoba oil into the scalp followed by blow drying. (I've never been a blow drier kind of guy but trust me, it helps the oil to soak in to follow it all up with a blow dry. After the blow-drying you are on your way to a day of feeling human again. I’m so glad I tried this product. I only have good things to say about it. It’s the only thing I’ve found that really works on the plaques, keeping them moisturized and easy to slough off while washing my hair. Controls itch, redness, soothes, calms and absorbs really well. Don’t waste your money on other psoriasis creams. The Ovasome technology used in making this product really makes a difference.

Nothing I can do about it. My scalp psoriasis needs a good dose of oil once in a while and this does the trick. I hate having oily hair but until I shave my head I"ll just have to deal with it. It does wash out next day pretty easily - no need to shampoo 5x to get rid of all the oil. Like it more than I thought I would. Don't use it weekly although I should.

I purchased this for someone dealing with scalp issues, but we ended up not using it. The product arrived quickly and was packaged well. I can’t speak to the results, but it seems like a solid option for people who need help with flaky scalp relief.

This product worked IMMEDIATELY to my dry itchy psoriasis spot. Within 10 seconds immediately. The area of my nape and hairline has been around for 10 years now. I’ve been to PCP and dermatologist. I do the script shampoo rotating with the other do otc scalp shampoos. But I’ve never been able to get relief from the itching and scaling. I found this on my own and I’m telling you it works. If you have Prime and you’re unhappy you get a refund. This is a very lightweight oil. I poly it myself then blot with a tissue. By blotting I have no oily spots on pillows. A little goes a long way. Right now my hubs who has RA is trying it in his areas of dryness - he has developed intolerance to a lot of products but this is also helping him. The cost seemed high at first but once I began using it this is going to last a longtime. I’m on week three. I only use it once right now but as summer heats up I might double that. So get it. It’s that good.

I have shoulder length, fine hair. I also have psoriasis on my scalp (ew, I know). I bought this to try to relieve the flaking, scaly, itchy patches on my scalp. This product is just as gross as the psoriasis I bought it to treat. I tried using it several times over several weeks, by applying it sparingly to my scalp using cotton balls, and didn't notice a change. It was hard to wash out and it didn't relieve any of my symptoms. So I tried applying it more liberally. That was just disgusting. The oil immediately started dripping down my face and neck and tickled me relentlessly, causing me to scratch and get oil all over my hands. I had to shampoo my hair SIX times to get it all out, which, if you have a skin condition, you know: causes irritation and dryness in and of itself. After the last incident, I just threw out the rest of the product. Perhaps it works better on other hair types, but for me, it was absolutely useless and not worth the mess or the money.

It’s not a permanent solution. However, my son’s scalp does stay looking hydrated and refreshed for a couple for a day. His skin does still dry/flake up on a daily. It’s not sticking too the scalp, it more lifted and easier to brush through it and wash it without having to use the use the comb to loosing the flakes. It’s way less flakes than it was before using this product. He’s not scratching it like he was initially. I am a little more confident about him being able to were certain outfits. It looks still looks moisturized after picking him up from school. I love I don’t have to use those harsh prescriptions! It has a pleasant smell!!
