BucknBear Custom Handmade Fixed Blade Tactical Karambit Knife with Kydex Sheath and belt clip (G10 Handle)

When item arrived it had jostled out of it’s packaging so that was unfortunate. It came well oiled though. Removing the karambit from the opened box it felt very sustantial and heavy and upon examination was actually very high quality and well made. The blade came very sharp out of the box.

Returned, not worth the price, must be one hell of a markup.

There I was minding my own business, looking at knives on Amazon. Having just purchased a nice knife by "BucknBear" the sidebar prompt was quick to load up more suggestions from that knife maker. I normally don't want or need such bait, so I just ignore them. The algorithm must certainly know I am fond of Karambit style knives, having purchased several over the years so they dangled the 'velociraptor' enticingly on the sidebar. "Whoa, whats this?" I whispered to myself as I obediently clicked on the link. Yes, its a bit over the top, yes it looks like it took a ride thru a black hole and yes; one is more likely to slash themselves just trying to draw the beastie from the kydex sheath than they are to actually win a knife fight with it. I freely acknowledge all this, AND that it is one wicked looking blade.The velociraptor comes in a nice presentation box, with detached belt clip for the sheath. However, once you attach the belt clip (which takes a little figuring out to get it right) then it no longer fits in the box. No problem for me as I collect knives, not boxes. If you must own one of these nasty looking things I recommend that you don't attach the belt clip to the sheath until you are actually going to wear/use it; that way you can still store it in the nice box. I can say that the only reason I bought this was the manufacturer; they always make quality stuff. Unless you are into fantasy knives, or happen to be Doug Marcaida you probably don't need and will never use this weapon: but if the algorithm gets you too, I suggest you also buy the book "Secrets of the Karambit" by David Seiwert.

The knife came in the mail very quickly and it was exactly what I was expecting when I ordered it. I would definitely buy another one of these.

Exactly what I hoped for. Very sharp, good size, feels like a tactical velociraptor claw.

This is way cheaper on bucknbear than hear and better quality

Overall sick ass knife little bulky but great collectors item!!!
