Good little solar generator with plenty of output power for its size!
The EB3A is a handy little machine with plenty of output power! 4.5/5 almost perfect but down .5 the buzzing fan sounds, even on silent charge mode. First let me start by saying that overall this is a great little machine. I admit I may have not bought this at the $299 retail price, but on sale is is most certainly worth it. I wanted a solar generator that had a greater than 300 watt inverter, LiFePo4 batteries, and in a small package. Most importantly be able to power the battery charger for my Stihl electric chainsaw, which draws 300-400 watts. If it could brew a coffee, that would be icing on the cake, but not expected. I did all those things with no issues. It powered the chainsaw charger at 400 watts. It ran my 1200 watt coffee maker at 315 watts using power lift mode taking 5 minutes to brew a cup. 21% of the battery was used brewing that cup. Others have done it more efficiently using different means of heating the water like a 600 watt kettle. I was just testing what I had on hand to make coffee. I didn’t test faster charging as I don’t see the need to put the batteries under that strain. If anything I prefer using the lower speed “silent” option. Which isn’t exactly silent. Some places online say the EB3A will do it silently, but even in the app it states that it will slow the fan and only reduce the noise. Nothing about eliminating it completely. In silent mode the fan will come on occasionally, depending on external temperatures. You can hear the fan controller buzzing noticeably as it slowly ramps up the speed to the fan. It’s not horrible, but certainly not “silent” either. I did reach out to Bluetti about this and they said it is normal. My hope is that they will be able to reduce this via a firmware update. I’d rather have the fan reach its set speed more rapidly, than have to listen to it struggle to move at the lower speed settings as it is ramps up. Still better than the fan being off or full speed only though! The power output meters seem to work reliably for as far as I can tell. Deviations were no more than a few watts from my Kill-A-Watt meter plugged into the grid vs plugged into the battery for the few items I tested. Not counting the coffee maker obviously. For example a 52 watt incandescent bulb registered as 52 watts on grid @ 120 volts using the meter. With the same bulb connected the meter registered 50 watts on the EB3A @ 120 volts, while EB3A registered 56 watts on it’s display. The USB readouts seemed to line up pretty nicely as well. A 4.4 watt load on my USB current meter showed up as 4 watts on the EB3A, a 10 watt load on the USB current meter showed up as 10 watts on the EB3A. There is also some parasitic load if you leave either of the power outputs on, but it does not register on the display. This would be the case if you left any inverter powered on, and not unique to this device. I have also found if you leave the app connected, the processor stays awake, and consumes some battery power. Best to power off from the app or close the app so it will go to sleep sooner. I was wondering why my EB3A was warm when unused at times, and I found the app was still connected each time that occurred. FYI, this isn’t a complaint, just letting you know of some quarks of the device so you don’t have to figure them out on your own. One thing I really like is I can easily boost the battery with some much cheaper LiFePo4 batteries I have laying around. I got 2 12.8V 42Ah batteries for around $80 each on AliExpress with around 1kWh of capacity total. Put in series they will charge the EB3A at about 199 watts, or about 99 watts in parallel. I figured this would work since it is supposed to charge off of a car from the DC input, not just solar, and was rated for enough voltage to put the batteries in series. FYI the batteries I used have an internal BMS for safety to prevent over-discharge and over-current and would recommend the same if you attempt to boost your EB3A with batteries directly. And if using lead acid batteries with no BMS, using a fuse would be a good idea. Also if you buy any 3rd party DC 8mm cables, make sure the plug is long enough to fit in snugly. I had one 3rd party cable where the plug was noticeably shorter than the other and it didn't fit securely into the EB3A. Please check attached pictures to see difference between the Bluetti MC4 cable and a 3rd party cable. I bought the 3rd party cable because it was heavier gauge wire, but that doesn't help if the plug won't stay in. It worked well on solar too getting around 70 watts input on my Dokio 110 watt folding solar panel. TBH I’ve never seen the Dokio put out much more than 70 watts with anything else so I’m not too concerned of any issues with the EB3A. The solar panel was another AliExpress buy. I’ll have to try charging with a better panel in the future. And while many others have done capacity tests I can say this will run a 75 watt incandescent bulb for about 3 hours, or 225Wh of output. Which given efficiency losses in the inverter is not too bad, but not amazing either. Again I didn’t buy this for huge capacity, my extra batteries + solar will keep it topped off. Overall I’m very happy and would recommend this to anybody who needs a small, powerful, versatile solar generator. But just don’t expect it to brew coffee all day (without some backup) just because it can do it a few times on its own. ;)

Best small Solar Generator on the Market
I bought the EB3a to test out its functionality and to hopefully use it as backup power for my CPAP in our frequent power outages. It has a 600W sustained load rating and a peak output wattage of 1200W. It will only allow you to hit that peak rating for a split second or two before it reads overload and will shut off so you need to be sure to look at the input needs of each device before you plug them in to ensure compatibility. I have had this unit for about a month and have used it off and on almost daily, testing things that would work and may not work. This has yielded some interesting results. But before I get into that I wanted to give you a brief list of my credentials so that you have some idea as to my background. I was an electronics technician in the navy for 20 years before retiring and have hundreds of hours of experience working on small electronics as well as large equipment with very high voltage requirements. I have been involved in testing and certification of new equipment for the US military and have spent time as a shift test engineer. That said there are several video’s out there that discuss the efficiency and the capacity of the EB3A so I wont bore you with those types of details. Honestly what do you need to know?? What can it do… What can I use it for….. Is it worth the asking price… Am I going to get value out of it…. First question what can it do and what can you use it for.. These are VERY open-ended questions because the reality is that anything that fits inside its power output range it can power. Some of the sicario’s that I have put it through were things like. Charging a laptop, charging two iPad Pro’s and 2 iPhone 12 Max’s. Will it overheat or shut down if I charge multiple tablets and how about a hair dryer? Can it power that? Well, the answer is yes maybe…. Depends on the brand and rating of the hair dryer. I was able to get it to run on low and with low heat if I pulsed the heat on and off. This may seem odd but to the right group of people this info could be very useful, take my wife for example… Also I was able to charge and use my electronic tooth brush with Water pick. All functions worked with no difference between using it plugged in to normal house power and plugged in to the EB3A. In fact the only time I really ran in to any issues was when I tried to run my coffee pot on it. Every time the heating element came on the EB3A would shut down with an overload condition, to be honest this was expected as the coffee pot has a 1300w rating which GREATLY exceeds the 600w rating of the unit itself. It also powered an ultrasonic sink both heating and pulsing its ultra-sonic waves with no issue. The last thing I tried was a house box fan. This surprised me the most of all the tests I did. The box fan ran for 6 hours on low. I charged it up and it ran for almost 4hours on high. Now don’t take these numbers as some kind of promise that it will power your fan for that long but hey, I was impressed. This little unit has some guts! It weighs in at 10.2lbs so its not something that you would want to take hiking into the wilderness BUT day camping or car camping I would throw this in the bag with no hesitations. I did run my CPAP off this and was able to get 10.5hours out of it with the heater off and running it off the AC inverter. That really surprised me that I could get even 1 night's sleep on it. Is it worth the asking price… When looking at battery-powered devices the quality of the battery is the whole price tag and its what makes a good device good and a bad one well bad! You wouldn’t think twice about paying top dollar for a big top-of-the-line truck or muscle car but you would be mad if someone tried to sell you a ford pinto for $50K. The same applies to things like a solar generators. If the maker puts cheap 18650 cells in it at a standard market price and they start to fail after only a handful of uses then where is the value, but if they put LiPO or even better LiFePO batteries and ask just above the standard market price you can expect years of reliable use and there for the additional money now makes more sense and brings added value to your purchase. I have charged and discharged this unit nearly daily and sometimes 4 or 5 times in a single day just to put it through its paces and using the box fan as my constant I still get 6 hours on low even after more than 60 cycles of the battery from full charge to full discharge. Why is this important? Well.. Battery cells can often be a place where companies will try to cut corners to reduce the cost of a unit to make it more appealing to the general public. Back in 2019 I was in the market for a CPAP battery but didn’t want to pay the premium price tag that medical-grade equipment has. I ordered multiple Solar generators to power my CPAP and even tried car jump battery pack that had a built-in dc-ac converter. None of these worked for more than in some cases a few hours in others I could get 1-night sleep on them but they would require hours in some cases all day to recharge and after several charge-discharge cycles I started to notice that most of them wouldn’t hold that same level of charge for very long where I might have been able to get a full night to sleep now I was only getting 6-7 hours and while this is not terrible at some point its just not useful. I finally found a unit that would hold a charge and would give me multiple nights of sleep. But that is for another review. I have now slept on the EB3A for 3 separate nights two nights as a stand-alone power source and one night with it in UPS mode. During the two nights that I spent using it as an external power source, I slept for roughly 9.5 hours and woke up to the EB3A still having 15-20% charge. Anyone that knows or has worked with battery-powered units will tell you that the last ~25% is always iffy and should be treated as suspect because most battery-powered units are really only guessing at the percentage remaining that said you should always assume that a battery at 25% or below is in need of charged and should not be relied upon for continued use. But to have even close to 25% left in a battery pack that is converting the DC power into AC and then the unit to convert it back to DC that's darn good. Honestly, the only way to make this better would be for Bluetti to add a 24vDC outlet onto the unit directly and while powering a CPAP isn’t the primary mission of this solar generator I feel for such a small and compact unit this does a wonderful job. And truthfully I expected it to be dead after 9 hours, so this is a pleasant surprise, please note: my Cpap settings are a little higher than most because im a bigger dude I run about 12 to 15 on the pressure settings, a lower setting like 6 could possibly yield you close to 2 nights on your CPAP with the heater disabled. The charge time from 0% to fully charged is not far from the manufacturer's stated times. In Eco mode with silent charging, it averaged 1 hour and 20 ish minutes to a full charge. This can be hastened by turning on the fast-charging mode but beware that this causes a lot of excess heat and will shorten the life of the batteries. I did use Fast-Charging once to see what the difference in charging was. In silent, it charges at roughly 111w in Fast-Charge it ramps up to 456W. While the difference is huge, I would tend to guess that by using this mode you are most likely to only get ½ of the rated cycles out of the battery pack. It is always best to charge a battery at the lowest charge setting to reduce the amount of heat that the cells experience. That said there are times when a more vigorous charge may be warranted. But I’ll leave that discussion to another time. The cost of this unit at the time of recording is roughly $300 that said compared to many other models on the market some that I have reviewed in the past or have sent back and refused to review. This unit has features that many lack such as wireless charging and voltage conditioning on the DC side of the unit. The voltage is very stable both in DC and on the AC side this means that sensitive electronics won’t be negatively affected by the voltage drop of the battery or battery bounce back which happens when a load is applied and then disappears. Most of the solar generators on the market are made with LiPO batteries and not even name-brand cells the LiFePO4 batteries in the bluetti should last over 2000 cycles which when compared to the LiPO life of 200-250 cycles means you are getting a LOT MORE for your money. All that said what are some things that I didn’t like? First off the fan (in silent mode)… The fan is a variable voltage/speed fan and when it first ramps up during charging it makes a highish pitched noise that when you first hear it makes you wonder if it's going to blow up. Don’t worry once it's up to speed the noise goes away and all you can hear is the standard noise that most small fans make. That said its very quiet and can’t be heard from across the room. Second the max load… This is a tough one because really I think 600W is great for a smaller lighter unit it can power a LARGE range of things without much hassle and the trade-off of a 700 or 800w ac inverter would be that you would end up needing a bigger battery to afford the higher ac wattage. 3rd The screen…. I really wish that it would stay on longer. Or give you the option to see the time remaining in the app. It’s a small thing but sometimes when you plug something in you want to see how the unit is handling it and what to expect from the battery as far as how long it will last…. And well you have to keep hitting the button to see the estimated time remaining and battery draw. Lastly The app I LOVE the app it has SOOOooooooo much potential. Please Bluetti adds more functionality to the app. There is much that a web-based app can provide such as a number of discharge/charge cycles, battery health and more accurate/averaged discharge rate and battery time remaining, this is great for loads that change constantly like a CPAP… Final Thoughts: This is one of those things that if you have never had one before you wonder what you did before you had it. In testing, I plugged in as many devices as I possibly could and as long as I kept it below the max 600w it handled it all beautifully. I am impressed with the fit and finish of this unit none of the buttons feel like they are cheap the plastic is well made the handle is very secure. Overall I feel like it is well built and well worth the asking price. With today's technology and the need to have a device charger close at hand, this is a great option for daily use as well it will prepare you for power outages and even a great power source to take on the road. This is best for 1-2 people and if you intend to use it for a larger family I would recommend looking into the larger EB50 or 70s models. There definitely seems to be a correlation between price and quality when you compare the Bluetti EB3a to other comparable brands. I will be uploading a video soon with much more information. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have questions about the unit. UPDATE: 08/30/2022 Have been using the EB3a now daily since we received the unit. Still love having it around. I recently received the Solar Charge Cable for the unit and have tried charging it a couple of times with the 2 100W panels that I have on top of my shed, it is for sure slower than charging it via 120vac wall power that's too be expected but the versatility is AMAZING. I will be using this in our RV when we are able to take it out. I was concerned about using my panels with no charge controller as it was going to be a hassle to wire in the charge controller in its current location. After reaching out to Sarah and Cimy they assured me that a charge controller was not necessary and that the open voltage must be between 12 and 28vdc and it must not exceed 28vdc open voltage. After checking my panels they were well within spec 15.8vdc so I plugged them in and away it went charging like a champ. I have to say that I am even more impressed with this unit than I was initially. Thank You to Sarah who worked with me to get the solar charge cable she was very quick to respond and very professional she is a great asset to the Bluetti organization. Also to Cimy who has assisted me with many random questions that I have had. They are both great assets to this company and a pleasure for someone like me to work with.

I have many of these and this product is a keeper
Not only was this power station exactly as described – it exceeded my expectations and was considerably more impressive than I had anticipated. When it arrived it already had around 50% charge so was able to charge it to full in about an hour using the AC adapter (which was included). After charging, I was able to power a portable 1.4 cubic feet Dometic refrigerator for 12 hours using the AC/DC port. I was also able to plug into almost all of the other ports simultaneously while powering the refrigerator. That was a huge plus right from the start I own many different configuration of these power stations, my favorite of which was – previous to this new EB3A – my Inergy Kodiak. However, the Kodiak weighs a ton, is about twice as the physical size and cost 3 times what this EB3A cost. I’ve found that the EB3A can do pretty much everything the Kodiak can at a fraction of the price. And it’s so much easier to tote around. Of course the Kodiak can charge things for longer, but I feel that it’s worth the tradeoff for the added portability that the EB3A has. The main reason I purchased the EB3A was to power an ozone generator, which it does quite well. From the product documentation online and what arrived with the unit I estimated I’d get 8 to 12 hours when running the ozone generator. My testing indicated quite a bit longer at around 18 hours before the EB3A needed recharging. Which, by the way, I was able to do using my portable solar panels. Win! Now I bring this thing with me on daytrips, something I was unwilling to do with the Kodiak due to it’s size. I also take it on camping trips and anywhere else where I know I'll be gone for a day or longer. When I’m on the road, I need to be able to work and do Zoom calls on my computer so I will have to charge batteries numerous times over a few days. This unit can handle that task with no problem. I spent a weekend camping last week and this baby kept a lap top, a tablet, a Kindle, a phone, camping lights and the fridge fully charged. I paid close attention to the specs so I wouldn’t run out of juice. Of course, if I run it on high consumption with devices like a coffee pot, it’s not going to last as long. I definitely recommend this power station and if you use it like I did, it will not disappoint. Enjoy!

Dies randomly 0% even when charged; 2 EB3a units used daily bought Sept 2024 & another in Dec 2024
I’ve had one EB3a since September 2024, and received a second unit Christmas 2024 as a gift. Used everyday, living in my truck and plugged into solar panels. Time for a solid review. The first unit—brand new and has been plugged into a solar panel on my truck every single day since late September 2024. The battery does the job when it’s fully charged, but what I’ve noticed as the months have passed that the unit will always randomly shut off and die at a complete 0% once the charge hits anywhere below 50%-60%, from powering ONE single device using between 2 to 10 watts, sometimes 0 watts when the device is in “sleep” mode. If nothing is plugged into the unit and the battery is still on, you may see the display go down to maybe 40-some percent(Note: nothing is plugged in). On average, when being used with something plugged in, I’ve literally NEVER seen this unit ever display any number below 50% (Again note: with something plugged in) because it always completely dies..straight to an abrupt 0%. This has happened several times now, and yes it has been properly power cycled numerous times. 2nd unit: December 2024, received a second EB3a as a gift. First used, charged, and also set up with solar in my truck as a secondary power source paired with the other. Has been used every single day up until today in early January 2025, when it presented the same exact problem as my other unit. Powering one LED light only using only 2 watts, the battery display shows 70%, and once again abruptly shuts off randomly! Exact same issue as my other EB3a. After experiencing this issue on my first EB3a, I thought maybe it was because it’s somewhat of an “entry-level” unit in the BLUETTI product line, so I really considered purchasing a bigger more powerful unit within the BLUETTI product line. I’m glad I did not, because at this point after experiencing the same issue on my first EB3a and now my recently new EB3a, I’ve decided to sway away from all BLUETTI products moving forward and I encourage everyone reading this review to avoid using their products as well. I also want to point out that when using the BLUETTI app, there is absolutely ZERO security provided to “mask” your unit when connecting on the app using the Bluetooth feature. Numerous times have I selected the Bluetooth option on the app only to see other BLUETTI units as well as my own showing up on my app! I’m then able to select their unit, see their charge and even turn on and turn off their power ports. Not good. There is also a lot of useless garbage filling the main screen of the app. After daily use and experiencing the same exact issue on both units, I’m going to immediately assume the rest of their products are garbage as well. Waste of money. You can’t rely on consistent power with BLUETTI if this is a regular issue that clearly they’re not addressing.

Issue resolved and forgiven
Edit: Before you read anything else, you should know that this issue was resolved to my satisfaction 100%. The company replaced my unit and the new unit is working perfectly. That being said, the entire ordeal was concerning and the company's customer service was apparently lacking in some areas, so I'm adjusting this review to 4 stars (not 5 stars) for this reason. That being said, I am now completely satisfied with the product itself. I am leaving the original review up here, for posterity, but please note that this review no longer applies to the replacement product. If this had been resolved more easily, this would be a 5-star review. --- Original review from December 2024: I bought this product with high hopes. I did my research, including looking at numerous reviews. I ignored the few Amazon reviews that said that it shorted and did not charge properly, to my family's detriment. I purchased this device to use at a campsite. When it arrived, the first thing I did was test it out - checked its charging, usage, etc. One of the first tests was to plug it into our Jeep's cabin a/c outlet. It did not charge, short-circuiting. First, I tried Bluetti's chat support, but nobody responded (they still haven't). Then, I called their number. After repeated tries, I was able to get in touch with a customer service representative. I told them about the short-circuiting, and they told me the Bluetti device may not be compatible with the 'frequency' of my Jeep's a/c outlet. That sounded suspicious - no other device had any issues with our Jeep for the past six years - but I accepted it. She also suggested I buy a solar panel for the campsite. Fine, so I did. The device seemed to charge our other devices upon testing, so we ordered a car charging cable from Bluetti. We even ordered a higher-tier device and solar panel from Bluetti, in case we deemed this device too small for our use. The higher-tier device and solar panel didn't arrive on time, so we were stuck with the EB3A for our camping trip. During our camping trip, the EB3A didn't work properly. The worst part is that it not only didn't it charge properly via the car charging cable, it even burned out two of our Anker devices: a phone charging block and a multi-port USB charger. Replacement of these devices has cost us around $80. When I contacted Bluetti support (which is basically non-existent), they finally offered to accept the Amazon return and refund our money. But, there has been NO mention of the devices that the EB3A burned out. Furthermore - to add insult to injury - they offered me 2000 Bluetti bucks (woohoo!). That sounds like a lot, but it's actually only about $20 on a gift card applicable to new merchandise. Umm... I don't want your crappy products, and I don't want your $20 discount off your devices that cost $200-$2000 or more. Keep your crappy 'Bluetti bucks' and I'm going to look for ways to tell the world about how crappy your products are, Bluetti. DO NOT BUY BLUETTI PRODUCTS!

Powerhouse for campers
This thing has been amazing this summer. I hit up quite a few music events every year (camping at or near venues). This year temps were anywhere between high 80s low 90s. We were looking for something that would allow us to run a full size box fan the majority of the day. I ended up just buying a cheap fan from Dollar General. Turns out it pulled about 70 watts running on high. I was able to take this unit along with a 100 watt solar panel and have a non-stop fan all day long. My 100 watt panel connected with a 20' extension lead was able to put in about 75 watts for the majority of the day. Since you are able to use this as a ups I was able to maintain 99-100% charge on the battery while running the fan all day long. This allowed me to move it into the tent in the evening and power a smaller fan all night long (with a fully charged battery via solar). One day of the trip temps were still high while being very cloudy all day. I was only able to push about 40 watts to the unit that day. We were forced to run the fan on low to allow us to save some battery for the evening. My wife was able to run her hair straightner each morning (something she was not able to do in the past). I have had this unit for a little over a month and I can say it is totally worth it. For longer trips (I was doing 4 day 3 night runs) I would look into something larger but for your typical long weekend this thing is amazing. We have had one power outage since owning this unit as well. I was able to power up my fiber ONT and primary access point for a few hours until power was restored (kept the kids happy). I am slowly finding other uses for this unit. Typically I buy these things and kind of set them aside for their desired use (camping / power outage). This little guy has made his home next to my bed. I like that I can just press a button to power it up and throw my phone on the top (the wireless charging is fantastic). I have not found much use for the built in light (yet) but I am glad it is there. The screen makes this thing so easy to use! I love that I am able to plug a device in to see what its draw is and see just how long I am able to run it (this is a fantastic feature). I love that I can quick charge this guy in about an hour via AC or a couple few hours with my 100 watt panel. I almost wish they offered a version with built in bluetooth speakers vs the led light. I find myself taking this little guy outside with us in the evenings. I set my phone on the top and plug in a small oontz bluetooth speaker. We are able to listen for hours and hours in the evenings (while eating up little to no power). We are taking a family trip to FL in the next few weeks. I have 4 kids all of which are media hungry. I plan on having this in the vehicle with us fully charged so they are able to keep all their tablets / phones charged on the 15 hour drive. We typically set up one of those wireless access points with a media share. This allows them to have access to movies/tv shows off of a hard drive without the need of the internet. I can also see this getting some use on the beach as well. I have to say that so far this thing has exceeded my expectations. After using this with solar and finding out just how capable these types of units can be I may be interested in looking into a much larger version of this for an outbuilding on my property. I would love to see just what it would take to get myself a few panels on the roof. The ability to run some lights and maybe some tunes while out there would be pretty slick.

Great for power outages
Not a big camper, off the grid enthusiasts, solar genius or engineer… just a person who doesn’t love gas generators & loves being prepared:) Did LOTS of research on portable power stations, this one has so much value for the price & hasn’t disappointed. We have purchased 2 other brands as gifts for family members (prior to finding this one) 1 of these as a gift & 1 of these for ourselves. We do have a large gas generator for extreme power outages bc we have a well & need the extra power in order to have water available, but this one is great for normal 4-6 hour Midwest outages or for longer ones if u r on city water. Pros: -The fast charge is AMAZING! It does get a little loud from the fan but who cares, all the other brand units take like 6+ hours to charge, this one is approx 1 HOUR!! In a power outage situation that is game changing, I can recharge in my car (car charger sold separately) & be up & running in no time. - the price is great, especially on sale - the batteries have 2500+ recharges, most power stations in this range are only 500-800 - the app (use this to completely turn off unit when not in use so battery stays charged, I read reviews saying it wouldn’t stay charged & im sure it’s bc they didn’t actually turn it off. - ability to run/charge so many things at once (see below for specs on items we’ve used it for) - wireless phone charger (DC charging must b turned on for this to work… lots of reviews said it didn’t work & im sure that’s y) - comes with solar charging cables - lifepo4 battery (doesn’t get hot, reducing fire risk) - can use while charging (a must for solar charging) Cons: - the AC charger is in the packaging underneath the unit, like hiding in the styrofoam. I read lots of reviews that said it didn’t come with one & that’s where it is. - had to buy car charger separate. Things we used it for: -charging phones, laptops, iPads, ryobi 18v batteries, rechargeable AA & AAA batteries, portable power bank -running usb fans, led lamps (AC & USB), tv, mini fridge, 300w heater, electric blanket (both ac & dc), large ryobi fan, inflating aerobed (0% battery used to blow up Queen sz) Things it won’t run: - basically anything over 600w, even though it says 600w, the battery drains fast using 600w. So our 300w heater will run for 1.3 hours. But our 5w lamp will run for 50 hours. It will not run our full sz fridge but ran our mini fridge just fine for many hours. I tried our keurig mini, shut off, but I need to research the “power lift” option in the app more bc I think it will run that. (7/10 update: keurig mini is 1500W so it will not run that type of coffee maker) I did research though, u can easily get coffee makers that will work w/o power lift & 12v coolers to keep ur stuff cold for days that are not much $$, in case u need this for longer periods of time. You can also get a car cigarette lighter electric blanket that will work much longer than the AC plug in kind, basically anything that is DC will run longer than AC powered items. All in all, very happy with this unit. Knowing what u can use it for and what you can’t use it for before buying is important I think. Hopefully my review helps you with that:) 4/9/23: update, I purchased a 60w Blavor solar panel for charging (didn’t want to spend hundreds of $$ on a big panel) At 46-48wh I was able to charge my EB3A from 69% to 100% in less than 2 hours. I did not require the Solar adapter BLUETTI provided, the panel came with a direct cord & adapter for the DC input. I’m very pleased with these results :) 11/17 update: unit still works great. Used it for off grid cabin, trunk or treat decorations & we’ve loaned to family/friends for power outages. It did run a full apartment size fridge for about 4.5 hours with normal door opening. 8/27/25: still works great!

smells horrible. Runs louds. Cuts out.
Update: after two month's and one amazon replacement. The new one behaves differently. So far, it has not removed power everyday like the previous one (which also failed). It does emit a lot of electrical noise on 147.075mhz. Which I'm kind of bummed about. So I had to stop the test after a few days because that's right in the middle of where I listen to radio. The interference makes it's way into the wall and emits throughout the electrical system. Unplugging it from AC and things are better. But that excludes using this as an UPS. The new device spent a week in the garage airing out. It went through one power outage during that time, and was the only (of three) banks that still had AC output enabled. The other two turned off under these real conditions. I don't know if the eb3 was rebooting daily during that time because lights don't have uptimes like computers. It ran my tv and computer in UPS mode for a week, before I discovered the interference, and I didn't hear the random fan ramping that the previous one experienced. My tv and computer did not reboot daily. My new assessment is, this is a better ups than my other two larger power stations. It actually seems to have hysteresis before passing through recovered power. So it behaves better under a real power outage scenario. I still don't trust it like a real ups though. I don't like that grounds are not grounded on the output. It still smells. It puts off electrical interference. For the price I paid, it's a decent device. But I'm not actually using it as an UPS because I don't want the interference or for my tv/computer to be ungrounded. So kind of a waste of money. Would I buy again? No. Update: Nov 26th - Dec 3 was the life span. It failed. Self discharged to 0% over nite after being removed/disconnected. It charged one more time, I watched until 75%. When I came back it was off and never turned on again. I input DC, and it came to life and read 0%. He's dead jim. I was already returning it for being buggy :/ Now I need to contact support and specify it could be unsafe honestly. ---- original review ---- I thought this may be decent and convenient. Maybe for a router. Or a tv. However initially the offgassing drove me out of the room. The really loud fan kicks on often, and it also makes odd sounds before the fan really runs. All this helps to waft it's smell everywhere and it's still gross after 72 hours. I had to open a window, when it was 35 out, just to supplement the air. For three days. My use case was to power up to 300w ac for short term power interruptions. As an UPS. However over the course of 48 hours, the device itself interrupted power for no apparent reason, no less than three times. It was very short, but enough to make all things reboot. coincidentally, I did have a power outage, and it did keep the tv on :) But that's when I decided to return it, because it had already rebooted that and my super tiny HTPC 3 times :) And it was going to be out of power soon.... I also would occasionally lose hdmi video sync, and would have to unplug/replug my hdmi cable. So possibly another micro outage caused that, or the lack of a common ground? I really don't know. I just know, it's a non starter. So even at 209 It's not worth keeping. It's a bit small to be useful elsewhere, and it's really really smelly and loud at times. Runs hot at 100% charge, and passing through any amount of AC. I don't like that an app was required just to take it out of eco mode. And other important functions. The app also wants you to create an account and other needless PII things. I didn't mess around with the bluetooth otherwise, or go looking for more open alternatives. Not the worst app I've seen, but then again, I wasn't looking for a relationship, just a small UPS that might double as a fun power station when needed. On the plus side, it's really cute. It feels cheap and is pretty hollow, but it's cuter than it is cheap. It has a certain appeal to it. I like it. The wireless charger seemed decent, although a little vague, but did output 17 watts into my phone when that sweet spot was found. Has a lot of alleged functionality, but for me, didn't execute on my most basic needs. The smell alone and loudness, are pretty hard to overcome as well. All the reviews seem hit or miss. Did I just get a bad one? Do I have time to make this a life goal to figure out? I can't give a product more than 2 stars if it literally doesn't do what it says it does. This doesn't work as an UPS, and will power cycle your equipment needlessly. Other people report other issues like discharging while being charged from solar.... etc. If you just want a really small amount of power, to bring with you, then this may be decent for that. A large power bank may be more convenient. Sorry for the long winded review, it's because I'm disappointed with bluetti. This is my first, and only experience with them. I have to send it back. It just didn't smell like a 2 year, let alone a 10 year design life to me. No way.

Great backup power source and easy to use.
I like the unit in its simplicity ease to use, my only problem was getting it to charge from solar. I did the update and tried charging from electric ( which is fine) and solar at same time to get it going but soon as I disconnected the electric it stopped charging. Maybe an update will come to fix this. They said to try connecting it to car charger to see it it works but I’m not purchasing one just to see if it helps. I did return it because it would not do what I wanted it to.

想像以上の活躍
車中泊で家庭用扇風機を繋いで使用しました。 21時ごろから扇風機を使用し、朝方ぐらいまで使えました。 商品本体のファンが回る音や、その他の騒音など気にならず快適に過ごせました。 SOSライトが付いていますし、災害時にも利用できるのでとても良い商品だと思います。

Se calienta aun apagado y no carga en modo ups
Se calienta y se descarga aunque esté apagado, a veces no logra cargarse al 100% y pierde carga sin usarlo. Y aparece un aviso de temperatura y deja de cargar si estoy usándolo en ups. Y ya no carga. Tengo que desconectarlo de la fuente y cuando conecto otra vez no carga inmediatamente, se enciende el ventilador. No estoy contento con eso y no puedo devolverlo ni obtener un reembolso, o por lo menos un reemplazo. No es la maravilla que ofrece la marca y no estoy seguro de que bluetti tenga soporte en Mexico. Por lo menos, quisiera un reemplazo. Porque tengo la aensacion de que este producto es reacondicionado (aunque no puedo asegurarlo).
