Halo Soft Pate Wet Cat Food, Variety Pack, 5.5 oz Can, 12-Pack

My 20 year old cat, who has become extremely finicky, loves this food, especially the chicken stew. Until I discovered Halo, I’d been donating unopened cans of multiple brands of food that she used to eat. So far we’ve made it through almost a whole case of this food and she still prefers it over any other cat food. It is a very wet ground cat food; perhaps her old teeth prefer that. Whatever it is, as long as she eats it, I’ll keep buying it!

Took a little bit to get my cat to eat it. As you see in video he walked away and kitten took his place while I was showing the can. This was the third can, first I gave up trying to get him to eat & gave to kitten. This time he saw kitten eating it & jealousy won out. When I look at ingredients it looks really good for a cat. I actually wanted Amazon Kitzy but ended up, while going back and forth looking at ingredients, getting this one because of a coupon. They compare nicely and I knew my cat love the kitten Kitzy.

Since their first taste of it, my cats have wanted no other canned cat food. They even prefer it to canned tuna and rotisserie chicken. I don't know what's in it, but whatever it is, it seems it's going to replace all the other foods, by popular demand. While not horribly finicky, my cats do have preferences. There were some foods they're simply not interested in eating. Now they've gotten finicky, and are pretty much refusing to even look at anything else. It's a little expensive for me, but hey -- there's no waste because the kids love it so much, and it's cruelty free, so it's a win.

I'm really torn. I love the nutritional value this food has for my girls, and they love it. However, after 3 years of pulling out bone chunks and pieces, and cleaning vomit daily (from small bone pieces missed) - I'm on the search for an alternative. I had really hoped this would become resolved over time but that doesn't seem to be the case. It's a shame.

I have a 10-11 lb orange tabby cat, male, domestic medium hair. My cat loves this food. He is a little finicky, but in a good way? There's two types of cat food that he'll absolutely eat without question, and Halo is one of those brands. This cat food does appear to have pieces of vegetables in it, like carrots, peppers, or peas. They are clearly identifiable, noticeable chunks of veggies. Here's the thing though, he LOVES veggies. He begs for pieces of veg when I'm cutting them in the kitchen. He occasionally won't eat the odd pea that ends up in the Halo, but he gladly eats anything else. I don't know how he ended up like this, but he's a very healthy boy with a gorgeous coat and healthy teeth, so the weirdly omnivorous diet appears to be working for him.

This food was my cat's 'go to' food for years. However, in the last two years, little by little, all of Halo's cat products went sour. So bad, that even street cats don't wanna eat their dry food! I have continued the wet food for a while but even their best flavors were losing touch and my cats just stopped eating any of them. Now I'm stuck with over three dozen cans of wet canned food and four packages of dry food. No cat wants to eat any of it. And I cannot make a return as it's been over 30 days since the last purchase happened. Terrible company policies (and of Amazon return as well!) I would never recommend Halo products, and would definitely warn anyone about their terrible food and service quality!

2 of our cats love it and the 3rd thinks it’s ok (only ate half of his bowl). So tried Salmon and chicken flavors! Our stray guy ate the whole can of salmon! I like it as it looks moist and I didn’t have to add water as I do to others!
