Why does It black screen? got the card and went to install the drivers off of amd's website and when I try and install them it black screens

I have heard of recomendations of FULLY removing all prior drivers before installing the new drivers for this card, to prevent conflicts. There's even programs that can be had to help make sure old video drivers are wiped!
