This is such a delicious matcha powder. The color is a beautiful, vibrant green and the texture is a perfectly fine powder. It has an earthy, umami flavor that is absolutely incredible. It mixes well in both hot and cold liquids and does not clump up. It is a good price for the size of the bag, as it lasts quite a long time. It doesn’t explicitly state the caffeine content, but I notice after my morning latte that I am perfectly energized and have a steady flow throughout the day, with no afternoon crash like I tend to experience with coffee or espresso. I’ve made matcha for friends and family and they have all been decently impressed; I’ve even inspired a few people to purchase Naoki brand matcha for themselves! I like my matcha lattes sweetened so I mix this with milk and add the tiniest bit of agave syrup, and it is the perfect morning pick me up. Definitely try it for yourself!

It has no bitter aftertaste and dissolves well in both warm and cold water. The color is a vibrant green not like the muddy brownish green I’ve seen in inferior matcha powders. I’ve used it to make both iced matcha lattes and hot matcha and they are equally great. Yes, it is a bit pricey, but you don’t need to use a lot to get the flavor and it is still cheaper than buying match lattes at coffee shops.

I’ve used it both traditionally with hot water and in iced matcha lattes, and it works especially well for lattes because the flavor still comes through after adding milk. The packaging also does a good job keeping the matcha fresh between uses. It isn’t the cheapest option, but based on the taste, texture, and overall quality, I think the price is reasonable. I’d definitely purchase it again.

Good color but has a more earthly and vegetal flavor which I did not like. It is a good quality and fresh matcha with no bitterness. Not the best but if you need a drinkable matcha in a hurry then this is perfect for that. You can't beat one day shipping when you realize you wont have enough matcha for tomorrow.

I'll be honest - I don't have much experience with ceremonial grade matcha, or really any matcha for that matter. I can't discern the difference between a high quality ceremonial matcha, and a decent ceremonial grade matcha. However, I made a matcha latte for a friend and she said this was the brightest matcha she had seen (after sifting it) and that apparently brightness correlates to quality. I made a matcha latte with the set in the picture. This particular matcha sifts very nicely and is very fine. I like how I feel more of a "slow" energy throughout the day rather than feeling wired and crash immediately after. The tin is a nice touch - it is a very high quality tin and it looks nice. The seal, while it may not be "airtight", seems to seal tight enough where I can pick it up by the lid and it doesn't slide off. It is definitely a learning curve to make latte art with it. I don't know if that has to do with matcha prep, but I included a picture of my best one so far lol. All in all, I will probably stick to this brand and buy them. I am happy with the taste and how easy it is to drink - not overly powerful, just subtle enough to taste the matcha but not too bitter either.

Very high quality. No need to put through strainer as it’s super powdery as is. It’s a strong matcha flavor so you don’t need much. It will last you a while. Great product for the price. I’m glad I read the label as it says to refrigerate after opening. I will be repurchasing for sure and recommending to family and friends.
