My pot!
Super nice stock pot. The 8 quart size is perfect for anything cooking. The appearance is professional looking, well made, and a stainless steel lid. I like this pot a lot. I’m glad I purchased it. Cooks great and good quality materials. Nice all around construction and very durable. I would recommend to family & friends.

Great induction pot
Heats up evenly and the metal lid is nice because it won't break like a glass one. Very sturdy and pretty thick. It holds a good bit of fluid and cleans easily being stainless steal. It works well on induction cooktop. The handles are also very sturdy and don't bend even when you try to apply pressure on them.

I'm glad I purchased it.
High quality and heavy stainless. Has held up to use without discoloration or corrosion. Holds a small chicken when I make a batch of bone broth.

Beautiful and very well constructed!
We've gone all stainless steel in our kitchen for cookware and appliances. It's healthier than anything else, plus we have an entire set of Revereware from my wedding in 1974, and it's held out beautifully. I desperately needed a good stockpot for boiling milk, steaming Mason jars, etc. and the reviews were pretty impressive on this item. I couldn't believe how gorgeous it is! Mirrored so nicely I could put my makeup on using it. Really attractive. And very solid. The handles, lid, the clad bottom are all spot on perfect. And when I boiled milk for homemade yogurt, it was absolutely amazing. I use a glass stovetop (not willingly, but it came with the house), and almost nothing cooks evenly on it. But this did a fabulous job of a perfect boil without the center being too hot or the exterior only heating up. It was completely uniform on heat distribution. And it was also perfectly flat...imagine that! This is a wonderful piece to add to my stainless cookware, and it's so pretty that I leave it out on my stove. That says a lot when I normally never leave anything on my stove or counters, let alone cookware. This is worth every penny spent and then some. I will likely buy more cookware from this company in the future!

Good pot.
It is a good pot. I wanted a Tramontina, but they start from 8qt and I needed a smaller one. 4 stars: the handles are a little less convenient than I'd like. I could hold my other comparable size pots half-filled with one hand. This one I cannot: it is too painful as the handle is too thin. Have to use both hands. And it is even less expensive than Tramontina, which is not a very expensive good brand.

Very good pot
I used this pot to make some Brunswick stew, made about 18 qts. I didn't have a problem with bottom scorching or sticking. The clad bottom dispersed the heat evenly across the bottom. It cleans up very easily being Stainless Steel. This is my first cooks standard pot and it won't be my last. I'm very pleased with the quality and the way it cooks .

Great brand for induction cooktop
I'm so happy with my 12-quart Cooks Standard stock pot. It's a great price for such a surprisingly solid, heavy pot which is required for induction or radiant range cooking. I enjoy making large meals for family and friends, and this pot is reliable enough to cook low and slow to bring out the best flavor and prevent burning. It's a wonderful addition to the entire Cooks Standard set of fry pans, sauce pots and stock pots I bought on Amazon. It cleans easily with warm, soapy water, and for extra shine or to remove oil or water spots, Barkeeper's Friend keeps it beautiful. No harsh chemicals and you'll enjoy it for many years. The entire Cooks Standard brand is surprisingly affordable for such a weighty, reliable set of pots, baking, and frying pans. Highly recommended.

Ceramic coating 1-5 year shelf-life NOT durable
I have pots that are 18/10 stainless steel that I bought 15 years ago and are still perfect and durable. This is why I bought this pot. This pot is not that. I noticed the poor quality compared to my 15 years old pots and this This pot has a ceramic coating that can be easily damaged. This ceramic coating has 1-5 year shelf-life. This makes the durability of 18/10 stainless steel POINTLESS.

Great Induction Stove Stock Pot!
Needed a new stock pot for an induction stove and hoped this would work. It does, and very well indeed. Already used for chili and performs well on induction stovetop. It is about 9 " high and 10 1/2" inch diameter, so a good size for recipes larger than a dutch oven. Has a heavy base, and actual riveted handles, nicely shaped in a curve and easy to use, so these handles will last a long time. The lid fits well also, although I seldom use a lid for cooking. Large enough to take some jars for pickling or jam, which I also do. Overall, a good buy, and well made. Value for money!
