Hampton Adams Athletic Sports Tape, Very Strong, Easy Tear, No Residue

Best athletic tape I have ever used. Easy to tear without needing scissors, sticks to itself great. The ends won’t curl or come unstuck, but not so sticky it hurts to remove and doesn’t leave any residue. Use it to tape a couple of fingers when I play basketball and it’s perfect. Flexible and strong without being overly stiff. I’ll definitely be ordering more when these two rolls are gone.

Love this tape. I jammed my pinkie finger a year ago and never gave it a chance to fully heal, so I re-injure it constantly. Finger splints are big and bulky, but this tape works a treat to stabilize my finger without the bulk. The adhesive is strong but releases easily once wet. Great tape!

You get a lot of tape for the money so that made it a good value. It is NOT flexible. Good for stabilizing shoulder for torn rotator cuff. It is a good thickness and wide enough. Only saw it offered in the color black, no other varieties (at least at the time I purchased this was the only color offered (did not really matter to me). It is VERY sticky. You get this on it is not going anywhere until you remove it. I took away one star only because on the delicate skin on my shoulder blade and back of arm it irritated. Was super hard to get off and pulled a layer skin off, Ouch! Because of this i try to stick it down pull up and re-stick makes it not as sticky but it still is not going anywhere it will stay put. Maybe also because it did it on clean dry skin right after shower, maybe wait a few hours after shower so your natural oils in skin are replaced but you apply.

Excellent athletic tape for supporting joints and areas that are weaker due to injury or age or whatever. I have used several different types and this brand has been working great on my often sensitive-to-adhesive skin. I wrap my ankle well enough to do TKD and soccer (I'm an older dude with a ton of injuries from serving our over capitalistic country thinking I was serving the values of my US Constitution) and joints whenever performing other feats of physical athleticism. It goes on easy, stays on when you need it to, then comes off relatively easy with minimal struggle or discomfort.

Great tape at a great price. It shipped fast and is exactly what we needed for our son’s foot. Perfect amount of sticky and not too difficult to peal. I love that it comes in a multi pack.

I got primarily to use for taping my thumb/cmc joint because of instability & the beginning of arthritis due to Ehlers Danlos Syndrome. I have a hard brace but it is uncomfortable (a lot of zebras know the good silicone cmc one is pretty expensive if you’re in the US) so I thought I’d try this as a solution because KT tape isn’t enough support, Leukotape is great but doesn’t last long (& the soft tape underneath that protects my skin looks awful after the first handwashing) so here we are. I’m sensitive to adhesives & allergic to many like a lot of zebras. I do ok with this adhesive though there is some itching if I get too warm or potsy but I get no rash so far. My main complaint is that the ends don’t like to stay stuck down. If they did, I’d rate this tape much higher & I will keep problem solving to see if I can wear it better. My PT & I agreed I could play with it to see if I could also layer it over my dynamic tape or sensitive ok/haruto tape for added support on my knees when I don’t want to brace. (It doesn’t stick well on joints that are overly mobile like the shoulder though, it only lasted 2-3 hours after my pt applied it before I had to remove it on a warm day where I was moving a lot) Hope this is helpful to those of you with hypermobile joints looking for economical bracing solutions when you can’t wear your braces or need extra support.

No odor, no nasty residue left behind. Goes on, stays on. Definitely grippy when I peel it off. For one wounded area on a finger, I put on some of the J&J tape (which doesn't hold well), then used this tape. Peeled off wounded area w/o an issue. I had a little trouble cutting this tape at first. I'll get the hang of it someday. I am not a person who bites tape to break it. Not happening with me. Tried J&J, but it just got wet with sweat and slipped out of position. Tried Nexcare. One type I tried left some adhesive residue on my fingers. It took me 20 min to get it off with olive oil and soap. I don't have 20 min of scrubbing my hands to get residue off some tape. Nexcare makes one that's supposedly easy remove. I tried this Hampton tape first and I haven't bothered with the Nexcare. It's still in the package for someday. I can put this over callus areas on my hands when using pick axes (hand size and full size) outside. Able to move my fingers. One place, the J&J and Nexcare tapes just couldn't stay put. This Hampton tape stayed put for the duration of my work outside. Hands got sweaty and tape stayed in place. Does what it's supposed to do. Doesn't leave residue on my hands. Doesn't have any odor I can detect. Just works.

Ein echter Fehlkauf! Schlechtestes Tape was ich jemals genutzt habe. Es lässt sich zum einen relativ schwer abreißen, zum anderen hat es nur wenig Klebekraft und löst sich relativ schnell. Angesichts der Werbung und des hohen Preises hätte ich ein Leukotape 2.0 erwartet. So war es einfach nur eine Enttäuschung.

Warning to anyone looking at buying this tape in Australia. I have brought this before and this product is not the same. It doesnt stick as well, isnt as strong and doesnt have the product name on it. Dont buy!

Excellent tape! Used to protect palms of hands recovering from blisters. Worked really well, well received by gymnast and coach.
