Rubie's Adult Wizard of Oz Tin Man Costume, Silver

Oz Tin Man costume is quite good but add accessories to complete the look.
I should say that I'm a retired prop maker and was going to make just a tin funnel hat to wear at a recent Oz themed birthday party but this costume was available from Amazon for a great sale price. I'm 5-2", 160# and tho the pants were way big, the costume fit fine on me and was comfortable. I did form and rivet together a galvanized steel hat, created a prop wooden axe with sling carrying leather holster and made a painted wooden heart clock bored for a working 3-1/2" clock insert to pin over the printed one. I received many compliments especially for the extra details. The costume, itself, as received, is quite adequate IMHO, but at the least, you should stiffen the floppy fabric hat with cardboard inside. I did sew in a zipper to close the back opening of the tunic because the 2 small Velcro tabs at the neck don't do the job. Otherwise, ask a helper to close the opening with safety pins. I recommend you get a prop axe ( not included ) to complete the look. I knew that my real felling axe would be too cumbersome to carry around and perhaps a danger at a spirited party. My axe carrying sling freed my hands to enjoy eating party food.

Great costume.
Top and hat fit great. The pants were gigantic. I got lots of compliments on the costume.

It worked
It was a little big and the material wasn’t amazing quality but it worked for the costume and my son looked adorable in it.

As expected
Not the best quality, worked out good for our family costume theme wizard of Oz.

Adequate at best
There are wrinkles in the foam-like top from how it was folded to pack that won't disappear even after days of being hung up and you can't iron it. The arms are long and the pants are very long. 6' 4" or taller would fit. Pants needed to be rolled up at the waist multiple times. Pants are also very revealing (sheer and clingy) so you must wear something (not just underwear) underneath. The ax shown in the photo wasn't included. This I knew, but the image can be deceiving.Overall, I'd say disappointing.

It is a MENS one size, but a small(er) woman can wear it!
I knew this was going to be big on me seeing as it’s a “one size” men’s costume. I’m a female who’s only 5’3 tall and weight about 130lbs (I wear a size 4 typically, some times a 6) but I wanted a more “authentic” looking costume and most of the ones that are offered for women are dresses and most are too short to take the kids out in. The pants were very long, but the waist band was snug enough that I just hiked them up till the shoe covers were where they were supposed to be and the shirt was very baggy, but if I would’ve taken a few minutes and probably just grabbed some rubber bands or something I could’ve adjusted the sleeves a bit. But it did the job.

CHEAP quality for expensive price tag.
This anniversary addition didn't look much like the tin man grom.the movie, it was cheaply made, extremely thin material amd didn't fit allthe way around my husbands shoulder/neck line. He has brod shoulders, so a safety pin did work to close it. Overall I'd give this product 2.5 stars. Should have been $15-$20. We also had to purchase any and all props seperate. Disappointing for sure for such an iconic character.
