Secura 4-in-1 Electric Milk Frother, 17oz Stainless Steel Jug, Teflon-Free

My wife and I both like half and half in our morning coffee. Whipping it just makes it an even better experience. We have tried several different ways to whip the half and half but none of them even got close to this machine. We use half and half with 5 grams of fat per serving. I know some will cringe at that amount of fat, but I figure if you can't splurge a bit in the mornings why get out of bed. Anyway, the froth coming out of this machine is thick, rich and creamy. It is so thick it actually lasted overnight in the fridge and all we had to do was re-whip it in the morning. We did try whipping whole milk. The results were not as dramatic, but the milk was silkier and had some frothing. The whisk is not one of those with the spring wrapped around a plastic holder which inevitable stretches and no longer whips the liquid. The whisk is made of a solid piece plastic, and you receive two extra whips. The whip sits very loosely on the spindle which seems a bit strange, but I believe the whole system works using magnets. Lastly it is very quiet when running.

We are using this milk frother since mid 2024 which is roughly 2 years and in basically daily operation. The milk foam quality is depending on the milk used. We use a regular 2% milk and the foam is since 2 years, with the same whisker even, perfect. It heats the milk nicely, it is easy to clean. does not make much noise. I can only talk positive on the quality and performance of this product, which absolutely is very high value for the money.

We ordered and had to return this twice. The first time there was an issue with the electronic touch buttons on the base so we sent it in for an exchange of the exact same item. The new frother came very quickly, we were pleased about that, however, this just didn't froth! The base worked fine and it heated our milk nicely but there was no froth at all after multiple separate attempts. The little whisk attachment doesn't seem to move very fast. We use raw, fresh, whole cow's milk and have used a variety of frothers with this milk over the past 10 years: manual, battery operated hand held, and even a quick whip with a small wooden spoon. All of these methods produced more of a froth than this machine. We were hoping for a new method of frothing as over the years, the stainless steel manual frothers broke and the battery operated wands die off after a year. We just were disappointed with this. For $50 I thought this would be our new tool to froth our milk for our coffee. This had high reveiws and Amazon customers seemed happy but we are not.

Great product! Easy clean, removable metal mug! Just be careful with the small black whisk inside the mug, it's plastic and breakable but removable, remove it first to clean it and the mug. Been very happy with this! By the way, it takes about 4 1/2 minutes to froth regular milk on the min/max fill levels.

Update April 10, 2023Used it everyday with no problem and today the motor died. Ordered another one cuz I don’t know what else to buy as this basically has what I want but I expected it to last at least a yearGot this today and couldn’t wait, finally a milk heater/frother in a stainless steel pitcher. Used to work for a major coffee chain for 7 years and milk burns at 180 degrees, not 160! (They stop the heat at 150 for this. If they made this pitcher larger and improved the heat temp for this, it’d be awesome! The froth this thing makes is silky and abundant. Downside is that it doesn’t have enough space in the pitcher to add extra milk without bubbling over with froth, hence make the pitcher larger. This whole unit is truly compact and perfect and for $45! Compared to a Nespresso which you barley have any room for milk and 3x the price! I used whole milk, which is what Starbucks uses for their Flat Whites, made 1 cup/6oz of Illy’s Forte drip brew coffee and it was great! Just wish the temp was hotter and could have more milk. Totally worth the purchase. Yes, it’s super quiet. I think this is going to save me money

I've never successfully foamed cold whole milk, so I tried this first. Unbelievable, take a look. So far very easy, very impressive foam, and easy to clean. They all appear to make foam, but this is one of few that isn't a single piece with the motor, so very easy to clean! It's been probably 15 minutes now, some milk has blended into the coffee but I still have about an inch of foam sitting on top. Looking forward to trying hot in the morning!The hot foam is thick, delightful and holds up to pouring coffee over it. I have made both whole milk and half and half!There is a minimum line which is far more cream than I need for two cups of coffee. I have found it does fine with less but don't know why this may not be good to do other than the cream does scald slightly on the bottom, may be because of my lower volume.

If you want easy, hot, frothed milk or hot cocoa, this is it. My sons have gotten into "fancy coffee" and were trying to make frothed milk with the Magic Bullet & the microwave. They also love hot chocolate. A friend recommended this milk frother and it was a big hit. It heats & froths the milk beautifully for coffee, and it holds enough milk for 2 portions of cocoa. It mixes cocoa powder well and reaches a perfect serving temperature. The separate carafe is much easier to clean than our Coco Motion that has the base attached.

This milk frother worked well for a few years, and then stopped heating. Then the other functions stopped working too. I ordered another one in 2025. But this one would not work at all. I immediately returned it. I conclude that this is an unreliable product and quality has declined. I read other reviews and found that many other purchasers had similar problems with the product. I suggest purchasing different milk frother from a different manufacturer. Don't waste your money and time on this one.

NOTE April 2024 - This wonderful machine stopped heating the milk. It gradually took longer and longer to work, then it could only barely warm the milk then it stopped heating altogether. I just emailed the manufacturer for warranty support.UPDATE: The replacement is still going strong.ORIGINAL REVIEW - So glad I sprang for the deluxe model. Warm milk, hot chocolate, chai tea. Easy clean up. Fill, press the button, go do something else. No fuss, no mess, no hovering, no burnt milk, no pot to scrub clean. Go for it.Some room for improvement: stainless steel whisks so you don't have to cool them off between drinks - make the temperature and whisk speed separate buttons so you can customise your experience, like for making matcha.

I don't write product reviews very often. But once in a wile I run into a product that deserves it and this frother is one. We are vegans so we don't use normal milk. For this coffee I uses "whole not milk" a delicious product in itself, but it frothed amazing. This Frother does one amazing job and it is quite large you can do 2 smaller cups or one larger cup of coffee at a time. We used it with instant expresso coffee just to try it and I have to say it's like a Starbucks cappuccino. Very impressed with this gadget and highly recommend it.
