How many balls do I need for an adult blanket?

6-8 skeins I think, I am making a lg baby blanket and using 3, and may Need to get a 4th. Basically depends on how big you want it. Also the stitch, I'm using single crochet.

Is this 10.5oz or 4.6oz? the pictures and the about this item section say 10.5oz, but the product description section says 4.6oz.

I don't see where you see the 4.6oz. This item IS the 10.5oz from what I see of the label and the other info in the images. Also based on the price, it is the 10.5oz. I have made the baby blue cable blanket in one of the images. I have also made a Polar Bear shaped baby pad with this yarn. I Love how soft this yarn is.
