Great matcha for a great price per oz!
This is my second bag of this matcha. The value for the quantity and quality is unbeatable. I will continue to buy and use this every single day because I’m so happy with it. I use one scoop (they provide the scooper) and blend into a little warm water with some vanilla and maple syrup. Then add warm milk. Or pour milk over ice and matcha over top. Delicious! Just the right amount of energy with no crash.

Smooth, vibrant, and perfectly authentic matcha!
This is my favorite matcha by far! It has that rich, deep green color and fresh aroma that tells you right away it’s high quality. The flavor is smooth, earthy, and authentic — exactly the taste I’ve always loved in traditional matcha. The bag is generous in size for the price, and my most recent order even came with a little scoop on top, which was such a thoughtful touch! I like to mix mine with milk and honey for a creamy, delicious latte, and it dissolves beautifully in hot water without clumping. I usually make about 12 ounces at a time using the scoop provided and drink it two or three times a day. It gives me calm, focused energy without any jitters — the perfect coffee alternative, especially now that I’m pregnant. Pure, unsweetened, and organic — it’s everything matcha should be. Highly recommend this brand! 🍵💚

This is a better quality matcha than what is used at Starbucks!
This product is better than the matcha powder mix used at Starbucks! Starbucks uses a 51% sugar mix with questionably sourced matcha/sencha making up the other 49%. It has no tea flavor as it's basically just sweetened milk. If you've come to matcha through the Starbucks lens, this is NOT that product. It's what you should be drinking instead! When I've tried to get matcha powder locally at the grocery store, I've not been able to find one that is the same quality as this in such a value size quantity. For size reference, I'm pretty sure this size bag could last one person 3mos even if they were drinking a matcha latte everyday. This matcha here packs a bolder flavor, a better boost of energy, and more mental clarity without the crash that you'd have from coffee. It is unsweetened, which gives you the freedom to make the final product (latte, smoothie, whatever) as sweet or unsweet as you like. The powder is ULTRA fine, and is about the consistency of powdered sugar. It dissolves wonderfully in a few ounces of the liquid of your choice (I prefer oatmilk), and it suspends very nicely and does not sink to the bottom when at rest for a few moments. All around highly recommend. Unless you're Japanese and have had that real good stuff and would know the difference, this is probably good enough for most people.

Pretty good, recommend
These are some photos and this Morton salt for size comparison. It’s pretty big. It has a spoon inside which is pretty useful. Ok so I really like this matcha. Its culinary grade and it tastes pretty good. I use it for my daily matcha latte. Its not bitter and actually slightly sweet-ish, but it has no additives so its nice. It does get a little clumpy when I stir it, I wish I had a matcha whisk, I just use a spoon.

Aftertaste of stevia
I bought this as an experiment, and went for the big bag, thinking that I'll use it for baking if I don't like it. I just finished a small pack of ceremonial matcha that cost me a little fortune, so I had some reference. This one is different, for sure, but I cannot say it's not as good. It does not have the same astringency as the ceremonial one, but I like it better (I drink it plain, with ice). It has a somewhat sweet taste, probably because it comes from first harvest tea leaves. In powder form the color is not as vibrant green as the ceremonial one, but after mixing I don't see any difference (it seems to foam a little more than the ceremonial one, using same frother and water/powder quantities). I'll stick with it for sure, you cannot beat that price, but same as with coffee/wine/Bourbon, there's the daily one and the... ceremonial :-) one. This is a good daily one. For the ceremonial one I would probably go for a Hojicha--different game altogether.

Very good matcha
I have tried before Matcha teas that I bought directly from Japan and this one is up there with the best. Since is not written on the package or description that this is "ceremonial grade", I was expecting a bit of bitterness or fishy flavor, but to my surprise there is none. I tried it even straight with just hot water and it tastes smooth, something that the majority of the Matcha teas do not, they always have a bit of bitter/weed flavor that makes them unpleasant to drink unless they are mixed with something. I had tried before their "culinary" grade Matcha and it was good but had all those flavor characteristic of most matcha, this version which is called "premium first harvest" is definitely better for just a small increase in price and much less pricey than other Matcha that are defined Ceremonial grade. Also, it mixes super well with water and lattes of various kind.

Makes It Green; Doesn't Taste as Clean
It is matcha. It makes things green. For all intents and purposes, this is enough for the typical matcha user. For those with a bit of an upturned nose to anything that's "inferior" to matcha, then this is not for you. By taste, this product is not as good on the tastebuds as, say, Jade Leaf. It doesn't do matcha justice and, in my opinion, does not mix that well when making lattes. In terms of color, this one is also paling in comparison when by itself, but when added to other things as a flavoring agent or colorant, then it does the job as well as it can. I am not saying this matcha is bad at all. I think if it comes down to drinking, save your money and get some Jade Leaf or equivalent ceremonial grade matcha. You WILL taste the difference. Now if you're going to be making a lot of baked goods or cooked goods? This wouldn't be that bad—you don't want an overbearing matcha taste anyway and the shade of green this produces is not THAT bad.
