I absolutely love ssamjang, it's rich, flavourful, and absolutely delicious. The versatile sauce can be used as a dip with meat or veg, on wraps, on rice, stir fries, or stews, as a sauce on pan-fried tofu or meat, and so much more. I've bought Sempio's ssamjang a few times now, and it has been fabulous each time. Really recommend. Unfortunately, the most recent time I ordered this ssamjang, the lid wasn't on properly. The pot burst and spewed ssamjang inside the box. That is Amazon's fault, however, not Sempio's.

This is a wonderful umarmi taste for anything, I put it on anything instead of butter with a poached egg, meat ....if you like a good taste have a try

Oooooo so tasty! Securely packaged so in perfect condition. It has a deep savoury flavour but with a sweet undernote somehow, warm but not hot, a complex flavour which is perfect for adding to a wide range of dishes. Excellent quality and for the price I think it's well worth it. I will be buying this again, more than once!

This does what it says on the pack. Can be used as a dipping sauce or a flavouring in a stir fry. It is not too hot and has a slightly salty flavour. It is perfect for vegan and vegetarian cooking as well as meat recipes. My one reservation is that it does create quite a lot of foul smelling gas in your stomach as soy beans tend to.

I bought this, the smaller size, because I hadn't tried it before. Korean food tends to be much spicier than, say, Chinese or Japanese. There's a different aesthetic at work. Having tried ssamjang, it gets a thumbs up from me. I ate it with roast chicken, which works quite well. The flavour of ssamjang is rich and deep and spicy with chillies, contrasting agreeably with the blandness of the chicken. The challenge now it is think of other food to eat it with.

Muy bueno si te gustan los sabores intensos de la comida koreana. Trae pipas de calabaza creo y le añaden una textura muy agradable.

Très content d’avoir enfin trouvé du Ssamjang. Le goût est authentique et parfaitement équilibré, idéal pour les barbecues coréens, les marinades ou simplement en sauce d’accompagnement. Il relève les viandes sans être trop agressif. Excellente qualité, je recommande vivement et j’en reprendrai sans hésiter.
