There is plenty of the copper tape. It is like roll of copper tape you can easily rip or cut to peel the back and stick it on. I believe it is real copper because it oxidizes to green after long time (when long exposure to moisture) if kept dry it kind of gets dull curry color and loses shine. I hope it is 100% copper as they advertise because I have many use for this. And have been using it believing as such

I am using this for a few electric guitars of mine. I had tried other tape and it was my mistake to order some through another retailer where they only sent a measely amount of copper tape which didn't cover hardly anything at all. After needing more to finish my project, I decided to try tthis brand out of the many who are listing this product. It arrived really quickly and there is so much with my 1 inc X 66 FT size order of this. It can be placed really easily and sticks great. It works a lot better than the other copper tape brands that I had tried. It was packaged with a lot of care because it came in its own box and also had some plastic wrap around the entire roll. So I will definitely be ordering this again if I need any more. I started with my Peavey strat knockoff which is a guitar that really has some amazing tones for the price. Next I will be using the rest for the cavities of a Les Paul I have. Be sure to make a grounding wire connection to the shielding tape before you put your guitar back together.

Very easy to apply and use. Be aware that attaching this foil to audio components for EMI/ RFI purposes may regrettable distort and degrade the tone to such an unpleasant degree that you would then want to remove it. Removing the foil is not always straight forward. Having spent four hours removing it from three components yesterday, was left with many cuts in my fingers...

I used this copper tape to shield the cavities of two my electric guitars and it worked like a charm. You can layer the tape while retaining ground continuity — no need to fold over to have metal on metal contact. I was able to reduce EM interference on my guitars by I’d say over 95%. The tape sticks wells and is easy to cut with regular scissors and unpeels easily from the backing. The adhesive is strong but not so strong that you can’t remove it if you goof. If you’re dealing with environment electrical noise in your guitars, definitely get this. Note that it will NOT eliminate 60-cycle hum from single coil pickups — that is just a fact of life with single coils. Also, it won’t completely block all EM interference, but that’s really more due to the fact that even when you’ve got all the cavities shielded, the strings and often the pickup pole pieces are still exposed which make it impossible to create a complete faraday cage without making the instrument unplayable. But it does help a lot!

Has a good quality and texture. Quite durable and versatile; also isn't to thick. Been using for some guitar projects I have going on...

A bit thin but it's conductivity is good even in its adhesive

This product can be used for several things. I used it to stop slugs and snails from eating my flowers. I saw a video that showed that slugs and snails will not climb your pots if you put a strip of this around your flower pots. When they get to the strip, it gives them a shock and they turn around and go back down your pot, they will not cross it. Every year when I would help my daughter plant her flower pots the snails would climb into them and eat the flowers down to the stem. I would find them in the pots and climbing the sides of the pot. This year I covered the drip tray under the pot with this copper tape. No snails climbed the pot. The flowers are beautiful. I still see snails in her flower beds and on her sidewalk but the pots are left alone. I also have a small corner flower bed that I plant annuals across the front border. Every flower I planted snails ate them down to a few leaves . I stuck this copper tape to paper cut them in strips and made a long rectangle completely around the boarder. My plants have grown back! The snails usually don’t bother them once they get bigger but I still have the rectangle around them for now, until they get a little taller. The more practical use is to keep them from climbing pots, but if you have a small area you want to protect in the garden, you can put a barrier around it with this copper tape. It really works as a snail and slug repellent.

Bought this to wrap around wires to reduce interference. Not sure if it really helps. For the product itself, the quality is good, easy to peel and sticks well. I also read here that some people buy this to deter/get rid of slugs in their vegetable garden. I don’t use this but I find a slice of cucumber on aluminum foil placed in the garden will. Yes, a thin slice of Cucumber on aluminum foil!

Bought it almost a year ago and since then have shielded 3 different guitars and their pickguards and still have plenty for one or maybe two guitars. Highly recommended. Very easy to work with and looks very clean

I've attached the pictures of my guitar shielded using this tape. It works perfectly, you can see that there is a continuity when I'm touching two different spots. Overlapping the tape will connect them easily. If you're looking to shield your guitar, this tape works perfectly. I don't hear a hum at all now (although, I do have humbuckers in my guitar as well).

I bought this copper tape for pcb trace/ eyelet/ pad rework purposes. When you remove old components off the pcb from vintage stereos, sometimes the pcb trace/ pad lifts or gets ruined. This copper tape is the best possible solution for that purpose. The adhesion is excellent, and solder sticks to it very easily & smoothly. Make sure you get a sharp exacto knife and leather punches to shape the copper tape just right. 5/5 Stars !!!
