Father's Day 3000 Lumens Rechargeable Tactical Flashlight with COB Work Light, Super Bright High-Powered Handheld for Emergencies, Camping, Hiking - Perfect for Dad

I've used a flashlight or two in my life, but I was not prepared for the awesomeness that is this honkin monster of a handheld blinding device. First the construction; solid metal all around with what seem to be well sealed rubber button covers on very crisp switches. It's heavy in the hand in a good way and light enough to not be overwhelming to carry. The aperture slide to narrow or widen the beam diameter is smooth and easy to use and stays in place where ever you set it. Second the light; on the first setting it's brighter than any flashlight I've ever owned by a margin of 2 or 3 to one. There are two more settings, I'd assume these are in case you need to signal a plane with a blind pilot to land in your general vicinity, or perhaps if you'd like to send Morris code signals to the international space station. The fact that it also has another light on the back is just the icing on the cake. Well used I'm pretty sure you could blind an entire pack of wolves by standing with both beams on and just spinning in a circle before happily making your escape at a brisk walk. Lastly the charging; Simple, charges well on a fast charger and holds a charge unused well. The usage time at full tilt is probably a little shorter than most flashlights, but then again most flashlights couldn't make an oncoming train pull the emergency brakes thinking they're about to have a head on collision with another train... Seriously though this thing is amazing, does every bit of what they say, and might temporarily blind you or someone you love if you're not careful with it. Please use responsibly.

I was stunned when I received this flashlight. I felt for sure that they had mistakenly sent me a more expensive product than the one I paid for, because it is absolutely awesome. It's not heavy, but it has a heft and feel that imparts quality, and functions flawlessly. Even the packaging was superb! I was almost sorry that I didn't buy it as a gift because the recipient would think that I had paid far more than I did! The flashlight is super bright, just as described. I am building a house in a remote location and, so far, I have no power, so I'm really pleased that the battery charges quickly with my portable generator, and lasts all night, and more. If I hear a noise outside, I can illuminate my plot all the way to the back wall, easily more than the length of a football field. It also functions as my room lighting so I don't have to run the generator. This is one of those products where you wish you could give it 6 stars, because 5 stars isn't enough. I did my research, and this is definitely the one to get.

It's hard not think that you're holding a lightsaber from Star Wars when holding this thing. It's jet black, thick in diameter and very laser like, especially when you narrow down the beam. It's very bright and I sometimes think I should wear sunglasses with it when I take it out at night. It's so bright that if you're standing somewhat close to any large object whatsoever [car, truck, house, tree] this light will reflect off that object and temporarily blind me or make me see spots, so be careful. Don't get me wrong though, this is my most used flashlight by far. This flashlight also has a milder beam on the other end which was invaluable when my power went out for 4 days. When you start to widen the beam, you can see a large area as if you're holding a little LED Sun in your hand. It's a must when you live in the forest like I do and need to go outside for some reason. You could easily temporarily blind any type of predator with this product. Animal or human. I should also mention that it can charge a cell phone and that it has a digital battery life indicator. Other than having to be cautious with the brightness I have no complaints about this well-made product.

Solid Flashlight With Great Features, Though Not Quite as Bright as the Pictures I’ve been using this flashlight for a little while now, and overall I’m really impressed with its performance. The advertised 3000 lumens feels like it combine the front and back together not just the front, but the dual-end illumination is a nice touch. It’s definitely bright, but not as bright as the pictures make it look—still, it’s more than good enough for everyday use, camping, and emergencies. The upgraded battery life is a huge plus. I love the digital battery display, and being able to use the flashlight as a power bank is surprisingly convenient. I get close to the full 12 hours of use on a single charge, and it recharges quickly. The 8+1 modes and zoom function give a lot of flexibility, whether I need a wide beam, a focused spotlight, or the hidden super-bright mode. The build quality is excellent—very rugged, waterproof, and clearly made to withstand drops and rough handling. The kit also comes nicely packaged with a gift box, flannel bag, and USB cable, which makes it feel like a great value. Overall, despite the brightness being slightly overstated in the images, this is a reliable, durable, and feature-packed flashlight. A strong 4-star purchase!

I keep this flashlight reasonably close to a couple of places where I typically change my contacts. If you have soft contacts, you know they sometimes can be a beast to find if they fall off a finger. after all, they are made to disappear unless they fall into a position where they reflect light. Put this flashlight into its high narrow beam mode and if the contact is there, it will light up against the background. A real time saver. Because I use this flashlight intermittently I’ve noticed that it holds a charge for a very long time. It also charges fast. It’s very bright. It is also heavy. So I don’t know if I would take it on a hike where weight in the backpack was an issue. However, if I was going to be at the same campsite for multiple nights, I would consider taking it because it is versatile and holds a charge for a long time.

This is a tremendous flashlight. The lights front and rear are incredibly bright. Front light has the ability to be even brighter. Strobe function is nice also. The device holds the charge for at least 2+ weeks with no drain in power. Device a bit heavy but solid...and in an emergency- it will cause some damage if someone attacks me. The device functions as a charging bank--slow charging but fully charged my phone and still had 40% additional power for lights. It would be nice if it had a handle or tether...but I used a tie wrap and made one that works. The display of %power remaining is also a very nice feature. Device uses energy very efficiently...with daily nighttime dog walking....will last 30+ days before needing a recharge. This flashlight is worth every penny and very well priced.

When I saw this flashlight on Amazon, I just had to have it. When I received it, I was really amazed at how solid it was. It isn`t heavy, but just has that solid feel to it. Then when I turned it on, I was surprised at how bright it was. And that was actually the lowest brightness setting. This thing is not only super bright, but unlike many other rechargeable flashlights, this holds a charge forever. I have left it sitting for a couple months at a time and it still held a 100% charge and have used it for a couple of hours at a time and it has never dropped below 72%. It can also be used as a power bank when out camping or when ever, to charge your phone, tablet or what ever you need. A friend of mine liked it so much that he ordered two. One for the house and one for his truck.
