Does it come with the metal backing plate (for junction box hole size) like the Google version?

Hi, No metal backing plate just plastic with holes to screw in the nest and holes to screw in the wall where the nest was screwed into.

To install, will need to disconnect the wires on my Nest thermostat that is already installed?

Yes, you will need to carefully disconnect and reconnect those wires, paying careful attention to where they are currently connected. It is not possible to rotate the mounting base sideways to put it to some kind of hole. You must remove the wires and unscrew the mounting plate from the wall. Then holding the trim plate in place screw the mounting base back onto the wall, then reattach the wires. Just pay attention to where the wires are connected currently.
