Chai Love Loose Leaf Spiced Chai Black Tea Blend 1.9oz

I bought Chai Love. Really good! Some chai teas don't quite taste right, but this one does. I made it along with oatmilk, and it tasted like a Chai latte. I'm excited to try more from this brand.

We ordered this tea because we were sadly disappointed in Art of Tea’s Meyer lemon tea. It had no smell or taste of fruit whatsoever. Tiesta is bursting with fruit flavors and the smell is pungent. I was also amazed at the comparison in price. We paid the same amount and received bags that were about 4 times bigger. We also love the way they categorize their teas. Their website has more flavors. Their discount ads are too aggressive though.

This has always been one of my favorites. The flavor profile is very similar to the STASH brand double spice chai bag tea. It is a bit pricey. But if it’s in your budget. Try it! There is another brand chai that I also enjoy (the flavor profile has more character), and it’s half the price. I’m not sure if I can say the brand on this review. It’s in a blue and white bag.

Update: I miss judged this tea. The flavor is actually really nice brewed according to package directions. For my taste, you need more than double the recommended amount of the tea-to-water ratio. Instead of a teaspoon, I used a tablespoon/coffee scoop per 8oz. I also steeped the tea for 5-6 minutes. I actually really like it and am ordering more. It’s well packaged but the plastic isn’t my favorite. The tea is decent, smells nice and appears to be fresh. My only complaint is that I think the recommended brewing instructions don’t seem to bring out the full flavor. Having purchased a different brand before, I think if it’s brewed in the more traditional manner, the flavor/strength will be where it should be. Since I haven’t tried this yet, I don’t know if I’d recommend this tea.I think if you’re a (loose leaf) Chai drinker, you’re going to find the taste a bit weak. I really think it’s due to the package brewing instructions. Will update when I try to brew it in the traditional way by boiling it in a pot instead of just pouring the hot water over a tea strainer.

It's good but kind of expensive for all you get

It taste great! I used this with my infuser thermos it steeped fast and the taste was just strong enough. I have bought more this is just the first kind I have tried. When I got my teas which took less than 24 hrs to get to me, I thought to my self this is too small for price but really you only need a teaspoon two at most so that is roughly 30 glasses of tea for the price more if you steep it twice like I do. I tried energy chai first not so sure I feel more energy but I do know I never try anything that bosts more energy because I get the jitters this tea did not give me jitters! I would give this a try if you love strong tea which I do so I will be buying again.

I've spent a lot of time in India and have had a lot of "Indian Masala Chai" team. This tea has potential, but it is extremely difficult to get a good cup of tea without over steeping. Others have mentioned how the tea doesn't have any of its spices ground. Whole cardamom pods do not release their flavor as readily as opened or slightly ground pods. Ditto with pepper corns, etc. I find myself using twice as much tea to a cup as I do with other teas. The flavor isn't bad - but it lacks the nuance of properly blended masala chai. Be prepared to steep for at least 10 minutes - and you better figure out how to keep your tea hot while doing so.

This was a decent tea blend. I personally found that it wasn't the strongest and had to brew the tea a little longer to get the desired strength. However, it was overall an enjoyable tea and fair value for the price.

Product was exactly as advertised. A small delivery problem was resolved to my complete satisfaction. Great customer service!
