I recently bought the S5 pressure pump to wash my solar panels. I must say that I was immediately pleased to see it. Very good to look at. All the accessories were neatly packed in ziplock bags. An Indian made product (that looks "phoren"! :) ]. It should be able to sell very well anywhere. All the parts look sturdy and are easy to clean. The threading on all the adaptors etc is strong and will likely last for many years. The air locks when they do occur are easy to remove. The pump functions beautifully. Even when water pressure from my terrace tap is very low, the output pressure from the pump is very good and I am able to spray clean my panels from as far away as 20-30 feet. Removing moss and other debris from the filter nozzle is very easy. I have only one suggestion for the manufacturer: please get someone who knows English well to rewrite your manual. As it is right now, it is poorly written and the troubleshooting pages are difficult to understand. It's a minor but important flaw.

Very good product – fully satisfied! The Shakti Technology S5 High Pressure Car Washer Machine is a very powerful and useful machine. The water pressure is strong and it cleans the car very easily, even hard dirt and mud come out quickly. The build quality is good and it is easy to use. After thorough review of all the pressure washers available I went for the S5. I've been using this pressure washer for around two months now. There were a few reasons I chose the Shakti S5, the first being the S5 come with a combo pack that already has the Quick connect and the foam cannon included. There were other options in this segment like the Bosch, Karcher and Dylect the reason I didn't go with the Bosch ,Karcher is because they have aluminum winded universal motors that are too loud as well as they use proprietary connectors so general attachments like standard 1/4" & M22 Quick-Connects that you find online won't connect unless specifically designed for it, and Dylect has again a universal motor with carbon brushes with is too loud. Not to mention the Bosch, Karcher are more expensive. So the S5 too has a induction motor which is relatively silent and it too comes with a aluminum winding while a copper winding is more suited but for domestic washers provided the insulation is well-engineered aluminum winding is more than sufficient because if the varnish coating fails even on the copper winding it directly leads to a short circuit and the motor burns out and usually the failure point isn't the motor winding its the pump head I'll get into more of this later. I've done a wattage test on the motor and its not 1900W as advertised the motor draws in about 4.5 amps on load and about 8 amps of inrush current for a few milliseconds when the trigger is pressed, so the real wattage of this machine sits around 1000W they have advertised the inrush current which is about 1840W but the real draw during use is 4.5 amps so 900-1000 Watts at max. I've used this machine continuously for 30-45 mins which is my usual wash cycle and in this the washer motor gets rest when I rubbing the soap on the car and the pressure delivery is linear non pulsating and the pressure is strong and the machine is fun to use I really look forward to use it and every time it satisfies me. The motors get pretty hot to touch after I'm done washing the outer aluminum frame will feel hot to the touch this is not a defect aluminum's high thermal conductivity extracts internal coil heat and radiates it out into the surrounding the casing also has fins that help the air fan at the back to dissipate the heat, until now the overheat protection never kicked in nor did the pressure drop in any of the uses. Quick tips for a hassle free washing and maintenance Get quick connect M22 for inlet and outlet this makes connecting the hose pipe easy and also save your pressure head threads also your gun can be attached easily to the hose without tightening and untightening at every use Get spray nozzles this is the single best upgrade you can make get nozzles from (0-40 degrees) and since the S5 already comes with a quick connector for the foam cannon these nozzles attach directly into it and these nozzle almost makes you fell as if you're using a commercial setup a huge upgrade from the rotating spray nozzle also these nozzles increase the pressure output because the fine orifice restriction, I use 25 and 40 degree for washing my car 0 and 15 degree may damage your car paint. Always prefer a tap supply than bucket because tap supply has already some head so the pump has to work less also the pressure output will always be more in the tap supply also there's zero risk of cavitation in tap supply. Cover the O-rings in the connectors with silicone grease to increase their lifespan. The Total Stop System (TSS) shuts off the motor every time you let go of the handle, forcing it to restart from a complete standstill each time you squeeze it again. Every startup creates an inrush current spike about 8 Amps on this motor, compared to its steady 4.5 Amp running draw. Rapidly clicking the trigger subjects the windings to repeated high-current surges, leading to excessive heat buildup and premature motor wear. Instead, keep the trigger held down for continuous passes and release it only when taking a break between sections. This keeps thermal stress low and ensures a much longer motor lifespan. The manual says you need to make the first oil change at 20 hrs. of use the second at next 50 hours of use and subsequent at each 100 hrs., the first il change is early because of the initial break-in period, during which newly machined internal metal components (pistons, wobble plate, bearings, and gears) frictionally seat against one another. This initial wearing-in process releases microscopic metal shavings, fine abrasive particles, and manufacturing residues into the factory oil and unlike a car this does not have a oil filter hence changing the oil early flushes out these contaminants before they can score high-pressure rubber seals, scratch piston surfaces, or cause premature wear on internal bearings. I got Castrol 15W-40 for the oil change as recommended in the manual, you'll need to open the pressure gauge with a wrench and then you can proceed with the head open head requires a Allen key 5 and you may require a cheater pipe to loosen the nuts as in my case they were too tight for my small Allen key. After that carefully remove the head it'll pop off with three triaxial piston and the motor is connected to a wobble plate assembly remove each part, drain the oil clean the parts relubricate and refix them then fill in oil, DO NOT OVERFILL fill just enough so that the plate assembly is submerged in oil overfilling is create backpressure since oil is not compressible when piston runs that will cause the oil seal to burst and leak all the oil. I have attached the images of the head opened and the quality is good and all the parts are in pristine and new condition. Funny thing is all the models weather S3,S5,S7 or S9 use the same tri axial wobble plate assembly so pressure output will be similar across the board even other brands like JPT or Aimex also use the exact same pressure head on the machines the motor wattage is also similar across the board hence if the heads are similar and the pump assembly, piston everything is same the motor wattage and rpm will be similar hence after lot of tinkering I found that the S5 is the most value for money in entire segment. Every motor you see online is Chinese outsource hence no matter what you buy you'll be getting similar spec and performance so don't fall for those 10 thousand INR plus motors that claim unreal wattage and pressure bar you'll be getting the same performance in a 5k machine since the parts are same and since they're not the manufacturers they can't develop a system that gives more pressure a triaxial wobble plate has limits that's why commercial pressure pumps don't use wobble plate system they use plunger pumps with crankshaft and their output is also limited to 150-200 bar at max. Finally the decision to go for Shakti was due to its post sale service I've heard good thing about them unlike other brands and also they use new parts in their machines some other sellers to undercut to costs fit in refurbished/used parts that have higher potential of failure. The only slight concern I have is the motor heating. If the manufacturer used a genuine Class F baking varnish, the insulation should comfortably handle temperatures up to 155 degrees. However, if a lower-grade varnish was used, breakdown could occur at lower temperatures, leading to a short circuit and a burnt motor. Furthermore, because the motor housing is sealed at the rear, rewinding the coils would be quite difficult likely requiring a highly experienced technician. That said, the motor is currently working as intended, and I will keep this review updated as I put more hours on the machine. Additionally, the user manual contains numerous spelling mistakes. Shakti could significantly improve it by adding general maintenance tips and detailed exploded-parts diagrams. I have seen this exact same manual supplied by other brands, which indicates it is a generic import from China. Updating and polishing the manual would give Shakti a far more professional look and help customers take better care of their machines. This is a 2 month usage review with the washer used 2-3ish times per week so far so good I've also added image of my car post wash I'll keep this review updated as I use the machine more :)
