3000 PSI (2.0 GPM Max) Brushless Electric Pressure Washer

Purchased the Greenworks model 3000 (psi) pressure washer on sale, and used it for two days outside surface cleaning in Aug 2023; liking the Greenworks model 3000 a lot. A quiet electric machine - online videos don't show how quiet it is. But online videos do show the Greenworks max psi is well under 3000 psi, eg the 15" Greenworks surface cleaner measured at 1000 psi (and the tips higher than 1000 psi), so the pwasher/surface cleaner should be safe for pavers. Packaged with wheels mounted; pwasher quickly assembled, no assembly issues, similar in size to my old gas 2600 psi Craftsman. Like its green appearance and its sturdy frame/body steel like my old gas pwashers. Its box arrived mostly pristine/undamaged, and parts looked sparkly new, unused - i see some one-star reviewers show otherwise. So thanks to those web videographers who measured the Greenworks psi pressures/gpm using pressure meters inline with gun and 5-gallon buckets to inform us of what each pwasher tip and surface cleaner psi and gallons per minute actually are. Greenworks should have easily provided that info, including their pump nomenclatures, so we as consumers can make a better choice, ie may not have needed the 3000 psi model if the pumps and internal electronics are the same for lower rated psi Greenworks models. For example, if a lower rated model has a pump to be avoided, then we can choose a better model. Used the Greenworks brand 15" surface cleaner on our wide (2-car) concrete driveway, concrete sidewalk, and 5' wide x 40 ft paver walkway, and delighted with the cleaning results. Even though I owned Craftsman gas pwashers for decades, did not know how low a psi pressure can be to clean concrete, so 1000 psi for concrete using the 15" diameter surface cleaner. (Using the surface cleaner is a must if you want to feel like a human when you are done, a great time saver). So the math falls to 500psi for each of the two surface cleaner rotating tips that clean concrete and pavers. Did not use the onboard soap reservoir yet- used a bucket of very diluted Zep concrete cleaner and just spilled it on and used a push broom. Phoned Greenworks, because neither their supplied instruction manual nor their online videos recommend a detergent, and their (annoyingly small print) instruction manual stated no acidic nor base detergents (page 9) should be used; that just leaves water as the detergent per their written directions. But the Greenworks responder suggested Simple Green as a guess for the soap dispenser Aug 2023. Purchased the Greenworks addon soap applicator on sale, but have yet to use it. fyi, entertaining to see the videos repeatedly miss which detergent to use; the video host only says "here is the Greenworks detergent reservoir", and skips to another pwasher part; an SNL moment. Did not find that the few second delay after pulling the gun/trigger or after elec powering on a nuisance as many reviewers suggested. An extension wand is required for the surface cleaner, because the supplied gun/wand are too short for using the 15" diameter surface cleaner. (Can purchase surface cleaner including an extension wand) No electric problem from a lamp post outlet 40+ ft from house with 12-guage underground wire on a 15 amp circuit ( I have not tried using an extension elec cord yet). Careful to keep garden hose and electric power cord and surface water separate. Initially, blow the surfaces. Rinsed the surface cleaner after each day of use; and relieved the gun pressure each time the washer was powered off to spend a little time rinsing a completed surface section. Smooth sailing so far. Btw, Trex does not recommend use of a pwasher, nor does Bob Villa recommend a pwasher on a house exterior - I still use the extension 22 ft aluminum threaded pole with replaceable brush and a bucket of very diluted Palmolive liquid dish detergent on vinyl siding to prevent my clothes from getting bleached by the stronger house exterior cleaning products, and this Palmolive solution is safe for Trex decks. More than a week later, amazed how good looking the driveway and sidewalks appear, wow! The age of the 36 ft concrete sidewalk is 42 years, the 50 ft driveway 25 years, and the 40 ft paver walkway 9 years. (Also cleaned a small concrete pad at our garage people door, and a nearby cluster mailbox concrete/aggregate pad for 16 neighbors on our cul-de-sac.) And yes, the Greenworks plastic holster for the pwasher gun is weak when in the upright/storage position; ok when in horizontal (working) position, but would prefer the decades old circular short plastic holding tube - reviewers are currently suggesting a bungee cord to bolster the holster; the reviewer used 3 holster bolts shown in his photos to anchor the gun whereas the model 3000 I received Aug 2023 only has two gun holster bolts. Also not a fan of the pressure hose holder which has a supplied bungee - our old gas Craftsman had a perfect hose holder on a strong plastic reel. But goodbye to gas pwashers! (applause). Hope this 3000 model will last; one-star reviewers do show some caution, and hope in general elec pwashers improve. Update 3/30/2025 Used Greenworks power washer again for the driveway. Pwashed each driveway section with Simple Green All Purpose cleaner - poured a very diluted solution by bucket, brushed it on, and used the surface cleaner. Had no problems using the Greenworks 3000 pwasher so far. Used a second hose for quick rinsing section by section. So our Greenworks pwasher is still alive after 3 years, and we keep it stored in our garage near our house wall so it's never below freezing for long. Driveway today looks amazing, and it hasn't been in dire need for cleaning for 2 years including today - so we could pass another year except for some mold on perimeter.. Sidewalk and paver walkway easily completed - nice! So Simple Green All Purpose Cleaner by spilled on bucket is good enough.

I had a 3600 PSI Gas pressure washer that was horrible to start! Pulling on the string starter forever. Getting it serviced cuz it wouldn't start, or plugs etc....and then the gas. It cleaned great but in my opinion was a pain. I wanted an electric pressure washer that would clean just as well, and had tried neighbors that were lower PSI...usually in the 1800-2500 PSI range...ugghhhh...they didn't clean well at all. Hardly removed anything! I saw the ratings on this one, and I watched a few demo videos on YouTube about the model, and everyone basically said it was a really great pressure washer and was pretty comparable to gas pressure washers. I finally decided to take the plunge and try it....and I have to say I'm really impressed! It is SUPER easy to start with the press of a button! No gas, so spark plugs etc. It's pretty powerful at only 3000 PSI as well.....and does an impressive job of cleaning the dirtiest of driveways and sidewalks, etc. Had to even be a little careful with it as it took a little paint off the trim of the house when I washed the house. Obviously I was too close to the house with it, or had too powerful of a head on it....lesson learned....but still...it's obviously strong enough to take the paint off the house! My neighbors electric 2200 wouldn't even remove dirt off the sidewalk! So I'm very happy with it and would recommend it! The turbo attachment is my favorite....it really cleans well! I got the disc surface cleaner to go along with it, and that works great too! Cut my time in half from when I tried cleaning my driveway and sidewalks with just the gun nozzles. It's a great little machine! Stands upright for easy storage as well!

I have been a home owner for over 42 years and the GPW30001 is by far the best electric pressure washer I've ever owned. Please read the following comments that led me to this conclusion: PACKAGING & ASSEMBLY - The unit is packaged securely and in a fashion that allows easy removal. Assembling the unit is simple and takes little time. STRUCTURAL QUALITY - The tubular steel frame and steel fasteners contribute to the overall sturdiness of the unit and the wheels provided enable easy movement over grass or solid surfaces. HIGH PRESSURE HOSE - One of my favorite items on this pressure washer. Prior units I've owned have come with pressure hoses that were flimsy and prone to kinking. The Greenworks steel braided hose is high quality and eliminates this aggravating issue. HOSE CONNECTIONS ON UNIT - The brass colored metal connections are sturdy. They are threaded which ensures secure and water tight connections. Others pressure washers I have used were were equipped with plastic connectors and were difficult at times to connect. SPRAY WAND - Solid construction and well balanced. The quick connects for the various spray tips allow easy and quick interchanges. UPPER PANEL ARRAY - Another excellent feature as all the included spray tips can be secured to the panel in the rubber receptacles and are color coordinated to make access a breeze. OPERATION - Once all the required connections are made and the unit is plugged in, the quality of this pressure washer becomes evident when you push the start button. Upon squeezing the trigger on the wand you immediately can feel the power generated by the brush-less motor. Being able to quickly interchange the various spray tips allows the freedom to determine which one will best serve the item being cleaned. I used the 25 degree tips to clean our teak patio table and it worked well. I then cleaned a small portion of our concrete driveway using the 15 degree tip and that also performed well. FINAL THOUGHTS - If you are seriously considering purchasing an electric pressure washer, look no further than the GPW3001. Yes, it is on the expensive side but I always believed in the age old adage, "You get what you pay for." It is also on the heavy side, approx. 50 lbs., but again the wheels provide easy movement. In closing, you never know for sure what type of cleaning situation may arise in the future and having the extra power / water flow can make a major difference in the end result.

I have only had this pressure washer for a few days. I will update my review after a month. I had one minor problem assembling the device. The top tube had a tiny crease that prevents sliding the top tube over the base tube. I fixed the problem by using a pair of locking needle nose pliers to pull the crease out and allow the top tube to slide over the base tube. The only adverse effect is that I scratched a little of the paint off of the top tube. Other than this, I was up and running quickly. I washed and waxed one car and tested cleaning some wood siding on my old (1886) house. The device works well for both applications. Even the 15-degree attachment did not dig into the old wood siding when standing back about 8" from the surface. It did clean off most of the loose and peeling paint. I have not tested it using a longer hose for the wand which will be required for cleaning the second story of the house. For car washing, it easily cleaned up dirt that has collected in the seams and crevices from many years of neglect. When cleaning years of neglect, I found it helps to first do a pre-wash using clear water, then soap and scrub with a cloth, and then go through a complete wash. The pressure washer worked as I expected on cleaning a car after years of neglect I will recommend this pressure washer to others.

I am very disappointed with this unreliable product. The first pressure washer lost its water pressure within an hour of usage. I followed the step by step proper way of using this pressure washer and their technician also guided me with trouble shooting. However, to my disappointment it never worked again. The GREENWORKS customer service representative said that a replacement will be sent and that I could simply keep the old one. The replacement arrived after about a week but to my disappointment it never worked at all - it would not turn-on even with guidance of a technician from Greenworks. I called the Amazon customer service to set up a pick up via UPS to return the item and to get my refund. However it has been 3 times now that I have requested for pick up and 3 times the Amazon has failed to do so via UPS. They wasted several days of my time waiting at home but no one has showed up. I called the Amazon again today (9 April) for the 4th time and was told they will send a UPS pick-up tomorrow. Well, let's see what happens this time - I'll provide an update. This GREENWORKS 3000 PSI electric water pressure is highly unreliable - at least in my own experience, and the Amazon customer service is highly unsatisfactory, they do not follow through to keep their promise. I purchased this item because I have read a lot of good reviews online - I was misled. Regretfully, I DO NOT RECOMMEND this GREENWORKS 3000 PSI electric pressure washer. If I could rate this product a fraction of a Star, I'd be glad to do so. Update: Today, 11 April, I checked the return status online. It says the pressure washer has been picked up when actually the item is still sitting in the hallway of my house. This is so frustrating, no one showed up again. As I am writing this update I am with the Amazon Customer service rep on the phone - on hold, waiting for assistance. It seems they don't want the item back, so I am requesting for immediate refund.

This is the first electric pressure washer I’ve owned. I used a smaller electric pressure washer about 8 years ago and was underwhelmed with it because it couldn’t maintain pressure longer than about a minute before having to recharge/rebuild pressure, and was overall pretty weak. After researching, reading reviews and switching multiple yard tools to electric from gasoline, I decided to switch to this pressure washer from an older gas model I had. I am thoroughly impressed with this pressure washer, as it delivered every bit that I needed to detail my vehicles. It includes multiple nozzles in the package, along with a high quality hose. It never lost pressure once and had plenty of power/pressure for the job. It is also much quieter than a gas model, which is a plus to me. It was easy to put together, easy to store with a small footprint (stands up vertically), and is a very fair price. I would buy again.

Great product. We've always used gas powered pressure washers, but we have a neighbor who has purchased a Greenworks washer. We were impressed enough by theirs to buy one ourselves. It does everything we need it to do. Very satisfied with the purchase.

I wanted to try an electric model and give ot a shot. Then I fell for the reviews on this one. Even youtube videos about this pressure washer had me convinced to give this one a shot. The result: First impression: I'm not satisfied and I'm also not terribly disappointed. Maybe my expectations were too high because if you're not like me (already spoiled and ruined by a true 4000psi gas powered pressure washer) this may seem like a really great pressure washer to you. The power is noticeably less. It feels like about 1800psi to me. I wish there was a more powerful 220 volt version that could actually put out 3000 psi. I also wish they would just be honest about the true continuous and usable psi ratings on these electric pressure washers. Max ratngs are 100% useless and unusable other than to increase salses through deceptive advertising. Please stop lying about continuous power ratings or lying by omission of it. It wastes people's time and money. So far I've only used it to wash the vinyl siding on my house. I was actually hesitant about plugging it into the outlet because everything was wet around it including the ground. Even the plug got wet. Just the idea of mixing electricity and water is scary to me. Then upon first use, I realized it only has just enough power to do small jobs but it feels almost inadequate. I think I will still keep this one just because it will do the small jobs as long as I give it a bit more effort. But I already know I will upgrade to a 220 volt model as soon as I can find one that actually puts out a true continuous 3000 or more psi. Here's the good: It looks high quality. It stores good. It's not loud at all compared to a gas pressrue washer. Easy push-button on and off switch. Easy hose connections. No maintenance necessary.

The ad stated that this unit was 2.0gpm under the product description. The unit is not 2.0gpm it is 1.1gpm. I Would have like to of try the model that was advertised. Disappointing to say the least
