AspenClean Laundry Detergent Pods | Unscented | 36 Count

Update: tried both the lavender and the eucalyptus scents. Neither scent lingers for very long at all. On one occasion, I did receive a shipment with broken pods, but that didn't bother me much. It seems when I order only detergent and nothing else from Amazon, the product ships straight from the factory and is fresh and in good shape. Otherwise, it might come from a warehouse somewhere and be older, hence the dried out pods? Who knows. *** Overall, I am very happy with the performance of this laundry detergent. The pods arrived, shipped directly from Aspen Clean, in great condition. They were intact; nothing was broken. I used one pod per load in my compact front loading washing machine and added vinegar instead of softener. There was no residue from detergent powder when the cycle was through. The pods seemed to have dissolved completely. I bought the unscented variety. The laundry smells great: like NOTHING at all! Even cotton t-shirts that usually have some sort of musty smell after being laundered smelled like NOTHING. I had that problem for years with some Lands' End shirts: I would wash them, and they'd smell really weird, even though they hadn't been particularly soiled. That smell is finally gone, thank goodness. I have tried other "green" detergents before (liquid ones), but they typically would leave my clothes smelling "musty" and unpleasant. Aspen leaves them smelling clean, without scent. If you have problem stains like tomato sauce or marker, you will still want to pre-treat them. I use a plant based stain remover spray from my regional grocery store chain. Even so, a shadow of the tomato sauce remained on the item. Maybe soaking might do the trick. The laundry even seems to dry faster, if that's possible. I line dry, and the first load already started to feel dry when I was finished with the fourth load. I will definitely reorder this product and am happy with its performance.

Purchased in April. Just went to use them and the covering around all of the pods has disintegrated !!! What is left is simply the powder. I bought the lavender one and used it first- no problems/issues. Works great. The pods are convenient and prevent using too much (which I tend to do and it can be unnecessarily wasteful!).

I love that these are EWG verified and work great with my baby's sensitive skin, but I often have to use 2 pods for small loads of my baby's laundry. On a good day, his clothes smell unscented and "clean" which is the goal. On a bad day, his clothes still have a mildewy/residual smell, which I then have to rewash using tide detergent. Due to the high price and low-strength to deep clean I am only willing to use them on my baby's laundry for now.

I was a proud tide free user for three decades until a formula change 3 years ago left me with eczema. Seeing that Aspen Clean had received top scores for safety on EWGs website peaked my interest & I ordered their liquid laundry detergent in unscented & eucalyptus as well as their grapefruit multi surface concentrate to mop with & their bergamot cleaner which I use for countertops. I absolutely fell in love. I threw out my bounce free sheets, ordered unscented dryer balls & cloths for the first time in my life & my skin stopped screaming. My boyfriend who grew up with all things scented was also thrilled because the products are so clean & he now is on the look out for additives in products that are not safe. The house smells heavenly when we use the cleaning products & until you use products that are non toxic you don't realize how much better you breathe. Enter amazon.. Thank you amazon for offering the pods! I now do not have to wait for these items to come from Canada. The pods are handy & quick, zero plastic & clean. You get a nice quick spa like whiff of the scented ones when you drop the pods in, but your clothes smell like nothing but clean when they come out. Because of Aspen Clean I now associate no smells with a healthy & happy body. And the Oxygen bleach laundry powder is amazing too. Stopped using Clorox & never looked back. It has been color safe, softens & removed build up (likely glycol) from our clothes that tide left behind. Make sure you dissolve the pods in warm water & I use one scoop of the powder per load with the pod or pods to soften (you will still need to use dryer sheets or balls in the dryer). So pleased with Aspen Clean's products!!!!! :)

Revived the product and a 1/4 of the pods were broke. Update: **Review for Laundry Detergent Pods** ⭐️⭐️ I was really pleased with the cleaning power, unfortunately, I received a new batch, and to my dismay, a quarter of the pods were broken again! It's incredibly frustrating, especially since this happened with my last order too. I had high hopes that this would be a one-time issue, but it seems to be a recurring problem. Because of the inconvenience and the waste, I've decided to cancel my subscription. I really liked the product itself when it worked, but I can't keep going through the hassle of broken pods. As for something to watch while I wash (or in this case, reconsider my laundry options), I recommend checking out "The Overall, I hope they improve their packaging or quality control in the future. For now, I’m on the hunt for a more reliable laundry solution. Update: I was too late canceling my subscription and to my surprise the box container had no broken pods. I will continue purchasing to see if this continues as I love the laundry detergent

I love what AspenClean stands for—it is plant—based, zero—plastic, and safe for sensitive skin (even with psoriasis). The pods dissolve well and leave no residue, and my clothes feel genuinely clean without synthetic scents. I even trust them with outdoor clothes and delicate fabrics. That said, the price is a bit high for regular use. I wish there were bulk options or more affordable refills to make this sustainable choice more accessible. Still, these pods are a solid win for anyone prioritizing clean ingredients and eco packaging.

Most of the pods came broken in all 3 containers and the powder was on the bottom of the box. I am very sad because they have been great in the past. I will not be ordering again and canceling my subscription.

Great for crunchy people. As good as Blue Planet brand. Truly unscented but still cleans clothes and removes odors.
