Touch with Love Eau De Parfum Spray for Women by Fred Hayman, 1.7 Ounce

Scrolling through perfumes and wondering what to buy next (my perfume obsession), I came across Touch With Love Fred Hayman. I read the notes and decided I had to try it - I was curious how it would smell. If I see a powdery (violet) fragrance, it’s almost a signal for me: “I want this in my collection.” More precisely, I want to try it - but often I can’t find a sample or decant, so I have to buy the full bottle right away. I love this kind of scent. I ordered it and waited - and now it’s finally mine. Upon receiving the bottle and reading the name, I realized I had given myself a Valentine’s Day gift, since the word LOVE is right there in the name. The bottle itself isn’t particularly high-quality glass, with minor imperfections, and a very thin plastic cap. But it’s still made in the USA. At first spray, a tart raspberry with an alcoholic edge jumps right at you - like in Pink Boa - Stéphane Humbert Lucas 777 , only there it’s raspberry with vodka. You immediately think: “Oh, this is incredible, I need a whole liter of this fragrance.” But that raspberry disappears within two minutes and never returns. Then comes a slightly synthetic peach with a shampoo-like pear, but they also fade quickly. After that, the rose emerges - as if taken from rose hydrosol and blended with the violet from Ultraviolet by Rabanne. The perfume has almost no sillage and lasts about fifteen minutes, leaving only a faint hint of powdery synthetic rose (thankfully neither heavy nor Bulgarian) and artificial violet. It feels like laundry softened with fabric conditioner a week ago, or the subtle trace of dryer sheets. Honestly, I don’t regret buying it. There’s also a certain bias with this perfume: if it had a bit more longevity and were poured into Guerlain bottles, I think I would like it even more. As it is, for me, it’s just another playful sprayer - a little scented toy. I’ve been wearing it all day, and it lifts my mood (since it didn’t disappoint after all). I walk by, give myself a little spritz - pshh, pshh.

The fragrance is warm. The top note is peppery and I did not expect that. It's a nice lasting fragrance. I see the only bad review was by a woman who bought men's cologne for herself. I am a woman as well and bought because I love the other Fred Hayman Touch and this was $8 cheaper for the same size.

I thought it would be a sweet floral scent but it’s more powdered. It also don’t last long on skin nor clothes.

It's too sweet smelling and the bottle is little

I'm fond of Fred Hayman fragrances, but you never know when you'll buy one that you have to give away. This isn't one of them - IT'S WONDERFUL! My mood lifted the minute I put it on, and since it's an Eau de Parfum, only a very little on each wrist, with a bit rubbed on the nape of the neck, will have people asking you everywhere you go, "What's that fragrance you're wearing?" I am now a converted Fred Hayman fan, no holds barred!

I admit right off the bat here that although I love perfumes, I know nothing about top notes, base notes, etc. So I can't tell you anything about that. What I can say is I just love this perfume. To me, it's simply a lovely, gentle, very feminine scent.

I love this perfume. It is very soft, florally sweet with a hint of musk. I think I pick up a bit of citrus too. My nose is very sensitive and this is not overly strong or sweet to me. Reminds me a bit of Avon's Sweet Honesty mixed with something else. I am a young 45 and I will enjoy wearing it day or night in any season. Would be appropriate for younger ladies as well. Can't beat the price. Came well packaged new sealed in box, nice size bottle.
