Hipa FS80R Carburetor Kit for STHIL FS85 FS80R FS75 FS76 FS74 HS80

I bought this carburetor kit with a spark plug for my 20-year-old Stihl Pro Series Edger (FC75 motor) on Amazon, and I couldn’t be happier. My edger hadn’t run well in years, and the local Stihl dealer quoted me $175 for the repair. Instead, I spent just $17, rolled up my sleeves, and tackled it myself. I tore down the unit by removing the muffler, carburetor, pull starter, and gas tank. Gave everything a good cleaning—including the spark arrestor screen. The most challenging part was getting the grommet fitting and fuel lines seated properly in the gas tank holes. It was a tight fit (which is a good thing—no fuel leaks at all after reassembly). Once I was done, the edger started on the second pull with no adjustments needed on the new carburetor. It now runs better than it has in years! If you're mechanically inclined and have a bit of time, this kit is a no-brainer. Took me about an hour from start to finish using basic hand tools. Highly recommended!

This is the third one of these I have purchased. No, none went bad, but I have a lot of older Stihl equipment, this carb. fits some pole saws and string trimmers. All three have worked like a charm, you can't beat the price. Everything seems to be good quality.

I was hesitant at first because of the price but this carb performs as good or better than new. Highly recommend ! Easy to install and ran on the second pull.

Previous reviews stated this carb worked, right out of the box, without adjustments. I ordered one & they were right. Trimmer fired right up, after only a few pumps on the primer bulb & required no further adjustment. Perfect fit & very reasonable price. Worth every penny.

This was a perfect fit for my Stihl Fs74, that initially was not running properly. My machine fired right up as soon as I got everything on it.the only reason I'm giving it 4 stars and not 5 is because the gas tank grommet did not fit at all on my machine. I had to use the old one. Otherwise it runs real well.

Can't beat the price. Exact fit for my weed Wacker. Started on the third pull. Didn't have to adjust the carburetor.

Perfect fit and replacement. Minimal time and effort to replace. After priming new bulb started on 3rd pull. Low idle was a little rough and adjusted.
