This is an indispensable item for travelling. I bought mine for an overseas trip and it is easy to use, accurate, and light enough to carry with me. Our daughter was studying abroad in Italy, took her to LAX, and her luggage was 53 lbs,(3lbs over limit) we were charged $100 in fees.Upon our trip to visit her, we bought this scale to check our luggage and had no surprises. Hard to use and do not trust the numbers. I’ve had others that worked more consistently and were easier to manage for one person working alone.

The display scale is in lbs and changing to kgs it just defaults back to lbs in middle of weighing my luggage.I also replace the battery.I dont recommend this product

12 days prior to an overseas departure in MAY I purchased this item to ensure that whilst travelling my flight luggage would meet all travel weight requirements. Initial baggage checks with this item displayed an overweight inaccuracy in excess of 10 kilos when compared with existing accurate household scales. Due to time restraints it was necessary to locally purchase replacement scales, which were trialled and found to accurately comply with existing weight testing equipment. In conclusion, the Travel Inspira Scale were faulty and inaccurate causing stress and financial loss.
