BOMBAX Travel Jacket Men,10 Pockets Windbreaker Flight Bomber Jacket & Coats

I have raved about this great jacket! I bought the men's and a size up and it was great. The very best thing is the vertical chest pocket for your passport and boarding pass. I did not worry once about where it was (you are always subconsciously checking) and it was so easy and elegant to pull out when needed. No digging through bags or travel pouches, no worrying while you sleep on the plane. I used the exterior chest pocket for my cell phone; other valuables/important documents fit comfortably in the large iPad pocket. Loved the pull down gloves, the eye mask. I traveled in summer through Europe - it was perfect in airports, slightly warm outside but not too bad. The jacket looks good, even with pockets full. I do wish the eyeglass pocket had a top table to keep it closed. I used the water bottle pocket for compression socks I need on the plane; I used the outer sleeve pocket for an extra eye mask and earplugs. It was just great to know exactly where everything was and be able to get to it right away. Kept me warm in the plane; very comfortable.

I was most impressed with the individual zipped pockets that kept my glasses and other items close at hand. Most importantly the large pocket on the right side allowed me to carry my phone, credit cards and even a change of underwear. I was getting some threads from the area around the zipper which caused some pause but overall this is a great value. The neck pillow ended up being my best friend when I ended up having to spend an extra two weeks in a hospital in Hawaii after my cruise. I had developed a sinus infection which turned into double pneumonia and required extended stay. I have stripped off the covering and it washed up nicely. Great product!!

Personally I think the jacket looks good, fits good, and I love all the pockets. But I didn’t get the hood.. apparently it attaches and detached via zipper and some buttons but the hood was not included with the jacket. Please help!

TLDR: handy pockets, Asian sizing. So it fits perfectly in arms, chest and shoulders, but sadly not at the hips or waist. I ordered the large. I'm 38 38 44 so I couldn't zip it up easily on my chunky frame, particularly when the hidden tablet pocket was in use. The zipper also split the first use but I did manage to fix it. PROS: pockets omg POCKETS! They were so handy traveling as I didn't need a purse or belt pouch and it kept things easy to get at and hidden. Having a set easy to get to pocket for boarding passes and passport that was totally hidden in the zipper was great. Carbiner clips, the attached stylus and glasses cleaner wipes were also very handy. I was able to go out and about with just the jacket instead of my purse, or bugout bag which made things much more comfortable for me. Its decently wind and water resistant and the thumb partial hand covers worked well. The added U pillow really came in handy but I didn't attach it to the collar tho I may in the future. It also looked pretty sharp: not too masculine but not too femme either. As it's simple and black, its easy to put patches or reflective tape on since you can put your hand in it to sew thanks to all the pockets. CON: the zipper is plastic and split the first time I used it, which I fixed. I may replace the zipper with a metal one in the future. Also it was too tight a fit around the waist to zip up without 'sucking it in' as I'm a chubbster. I was wearing it over a heavy-duty hoodie so that wasn't a deal breaker but disappointing as it was supposed to be a "mens" large and it fit my shoulders exactly and typically mens don't. Clearly Asian sizing! Only available in black, which was ok (I'll be putting patches on it) but other colors such as a grey, army drab or brown would be nice as not everybody wants to wear black. As I do a lot of travel in dim lighting and walking at night, not having an option for a lighter color just means I have to get creative. Nothing a strip of reflective fabric can't fix. If I could be use the XL would fit my husband I'd get him one too but with how small the large was it's pretty doubtful.

I ordered XL hoping it would fit over my scottevest puffer and it worked. Is it more heavy than a simple jacket and not suitable for summer, but for inclement weather should be fine. Can use on its own as well. Outer shell may not be waterproof but it is exactly what I was looking for - has slick almost nylon material but more sturdy, not as heavy as leather. I can actually see using this as outer layer hiking above 14000 ft in Himalayas layered with scottevest and minus33 Marino inner layer. Not as many pockets as scottevest but handy enough for airport travel. Separate pillow can store easily in right side pocket. 200 lbs 5’9” male. If I were to complain it would be the small zippers but can easily add pulls. Have not used stylus but it is basically a pull , yes zipper on wrong side but it works.

Insanely disappointed. Excellent design, horrible execution. The zipper malfunctioned within the first week! This jacket was insanely promising but one of the basic elements required won’t stay on track. The sizing is also off. The jacket is huge in the midsection giving a very unflattering silhouette. I would definitely not recommend. Spend the extra money and buy the real jacket versus this imposter.

The jacket fit is very small. It is also very heavy. It does have the pockets as described and does appear to be waterproof. I will be returning the jacket as even if it fit, it would make me tired to wear it due to the weight.

I only purchased this jacket because the movie theater actually asked to check my wife's purse for food and drinks. I was pissed. We are in our mid-50s. My way to get even was not to go to the competition but instead buy us the Movie Pass (one per day at $10 a month) and this jacket to sneak in as much food as it will hold. A 12 inch sub, 2 cans of coke and some candy. To my surprise this jacket is very nice. Not some thin crap like that vest plus cheaper. It really is nice and classy per my wife. Now I go to the movies with the biggest grin on my face and I never buy that stale popcorn and flat soda for $16 bucks.
