Chata Mexican Chicken Chilorio, Ready to Eat, 8.8 oz

Delicious, great shelf life, excellent flavor. Use it by itself, scrambled with eggs & cheese, with rice, beans, or whatever else you feel like eating. You will not be disappointed

Good tasting product. Did not need to be drained of excess juice (unlike the beef, which was over 50% water). Used it to make nachos. Very good, would buy again.

For ready to eat meals this is not too bad at all. Bought twice to eat with the pocket corn tortillas then with some rice. The flavor is authentic taste with the blend of fresh ingredients. Not a strong spicy flavor. It would be good with salsa too. The salt content is high but typical with these processed food. I only ate half a bag and will save the rest for another meal. Its convenience is a plus for just a minute or so in the microwave.

Stringy non descript flavor

Born in TX so and now living in AZ I am not familiar with Chilorio with Sinaloa, MX origins. You can serve it with a variety of foods like refried beans, etc. I made tacos with the meat and it comes in a variety of meats, etc. I tried this Pollo (Chicken) and it made for a great taco filling! I just ordered the turkey & pork to try out next. I live in the desert so I'm looking for foods that I can prepare quickly without firing up the stovetop. For the hotter temps coming soon I want to use the microwave or air fryer for most of my meals.

This makes a nice addition to eggs as a side along with a tortilla or toast and some avocado and, perhaps, some salsa. It is delicious in a bowl with scrambled eggs and some rice with sour cream and a salsa - mild or hot. It makes a nice sandwich too, when sizzled briefly to enhance the spicy goodness. I truly enjoy it and it is a regular component in my breakfast rotation of favorites.
