JJC HB-N106 Lens Hood for Nikon D3500 D3400 D7500 + AF-P 18-55mm Kit Lens

This lens hood fits perfectly and helps block glare while shooting. Lightweight, snaps on securely, and does what it’s supposed to. It’s not the same quality as brand-name hoods, but for everyday photography it works great.

I purchased for my Nikon Z 24-120mm f/4 S…the first one i ordered was not fitting up to lock onto the lens, this second replacement seems to work and lock onto the lens. Time will tell - thinner plastic hood flexes more but once locked onto the lens it is firm and well secured. I purchased this hood because it looks better ascetically and more compact…I’m leaving it on the lens because it works as a lens shade should.

attaches easy, it does what it should. short hood so make sure you know what you are getting, perfect for my needs. light weight and nothing fancy. low price for a good product

I bought this for a few dollars less than the Nikon version, and have found that it fits more loosely than my Nikon lens hoods. The Nikon hoods have a very tight feel, and a tactile 'click' when they are engaged. This does not feel very 'clicky' and rotates off easily. It has not fallen off on its own yet, but feels like it could.

It does fit the lens but it takes more force to snap into the locked position than you'd expect, but it does lock firmly. This i believe is why some reviewers said it doesnt fit. They arent locking it all the way. It is the exact same size as the nikon lens hood for this lens and seems durable enough. Does not create a vignette in photos. Pretty sure any impact strong enough to break the hood will break the camera regardless which hood you buy. Then again thats not really the function of a lens hood. For a fraction of the price of the nikon hood i have to say well done.

Perfect fit and does what it should This HB-77 hood fits my Nikon 70-300mm AF-P perfectly. It’s reversible for storage and blocks side light really well. I noticed better contrast and less flare when shooting into the light right away. Build quality is solid plastic, lightweight, and it locks in place securely. Much cheaper than the original Nikon one and works just the same. Highly recommend if you own this lens.
