I like this and I’m glad I bought it. Sometimes I burn things on my stove and want to get the smoking pot outside asap so it doesn’t fill up the kitchen. I place this outside next to the door and I can put the (very hot) pan on it without marring the wood or the rug. It seems to be able to handle the heat well. It’s nice that it also looks attractive because it’s sitting outside my front door. Only trouble is the rubber pegs don’t stay on very well. I lost one. :/

This is a solid piece of cast iron, that will work well to hold my tetsubin off a cold counter top. Even though it is a different brand, it matches the design of that tea pot. The price was reasonable.

This trivet fits my Japanese cast iron teapot perfectly. Wish I had bought it sooner.
