This book may be less intimidating than its big brother (ISC)2 CISSP Certified Information Systems Security Professional Official Study Guide, written by the same authors, but it nonetheless provides the foundation you need to prepare for the CCSP Certification Exam.Obviously further material is required to pass such as the CCSP CBK. I suggest also take a look at Mike Chapple's excellent CCSP Study Group on the CertMike Website as well as his Linkedin Learning Courses.Most important when you decide to take the CCSP Certification Exam and ISC2 Certification Exams in general, you need to stick 100% during the whole study time to succeed.Should you be somehow discouraged (and it may/will happen) keep your mind focused on your goal: pass the CCSP Exam Certification.It happened to me during my learning path (4 weeks) but I remained motivated and resilient.I took my CCSP Exam Certification 4 weeks after passing the CISSP Certification and passed!It was maybe the 2nd best day of life. 1st one was when I passed the CISSP.So to all of you who are still hesitating I'll say: Just do it!

I passed the CCSP exam on my first try using only these two books and Mike Chapple LinkedIn learning courses.These books are easy to read and provide insightful questions and answers for a better understanding of each domain and practices questions.I previously used the same trio of books including the CBK to pass the CISSP exam on my first try.I advise you to take the time to fully read them and test your understanding with the questions after each chapter and complete with practice questions and Mike Chapple LinkedIn learning courses.This approach really work twice for me.
