About the Author Akaycia Diamond, author of A. Diamond in the Rough, is a South Carolina native residing in Southern California. She currently serves as an active duty sergeant in the US Air Force who's focus is to gain strength through balance. In addition to her full-time career, Akaycia is a part-time student pursuing her Bachelor's Degree in Business Management.
