Worth it
I believe this is helping my senior dog with her neurological disease. It's definitely worth the cost. She's happier and I'm happier.

brought my baby back from dementia
i have a 14 year old husky mix with a mild case of dementia before i started using this he would be terrified of almost anything on walks he acted disoriented wasnt sure which way to go but the worse part was he was afraid of me the vet gave him some stuff for anxiety all it did was put him to sleep and he would throw up on it i researches every possible alternative and lions mane kept showing up this company gives the fruiting bodies whicj is what you need in medicinal mushrooms well it worked and hes been on it for 2 years now he still has moments every now and then but it goes away and hes back to being my baby iadded their reishi to his protocol and it helps with his stomach just a half capsuke of each every nite and there is a big difference this is an honest review as a fur babys mom i know how you hope you can help and you want to trust something that helps your baby all i can say is if you get it start in small amounts to see if he can handle it and if its a no you can take them go look lions mane up theres alot of benefits

Tread lightly and observe
We were adding this to our dogs daily regime at the advice of our holestic vet. Our dog has weak hips and hind legs and we were hopeful that this would promote nerve growth. Unfortunately only after two days of dosing, he had an upset stomach and lost his appetite. We stopped the Lions Mane and within a day or two he was back on track with eating. He may be more sensitive due to an earlier emergency surgery he had on his stomach in 2024. Hopefully your pet will respond differently than ours did and benefit from this product.

Helps cognitive issues
I use this product for my 14-year-old dog. He has become a little confused and very vocal and grumpy sometimes. I believe it's because of his age and his cognitive changes. This mushroom product seems to help that. He is less vocal and grumpy, and he doesn't pace around anymore.

Be cautious.
Purchased for my French bulldog with ivdd and After about 2 weeks of giving consistently at night to my dog noticed every morning she began to get very sick and would like clock work wake up and vomitโ got to the point where she had no warning and ended up vomiting in our bed. The next 2 days after stopping this a complete turn around and no longer having any problems. Decided to continue with vets protocol and give her gabapentin and rimadyl and seeing positive results.

Lion's mane is good for the nervous system, which includes the brain.
I'll update my review when I'm done dosing my 12 yo Collie, who has DM. I read that Lion's Mane was good for her nervous system and thought it was right. I give her half a capsule for breakfast and dinner. She has just recently lost the use of her front legs and insists on holding herself up to eat and drink but I still have to transport her. She somehow scoots across the room surprisingly unaided. I'm hoping to retain her residual strength to keep her as active as possible. She doesn't seem to realize her lack of mobility and flails her legs when she's either going to the bathroom with diapers on, or in her dreams. On nice days in the Winter, I lay her on top of an outside dog lounger and put a light blanket on top so she can enjoy the fresh air and get some sunshine. The lounger was otherwise unusable until now.
