Picatinny Dovetail Rail Mount Adapter with 1/4" Screw for Camera

This is the mount adapter to get for mounting a chronograph to picatinny rail. Plenty of threads for secure mounting my Athlon rangecraft velocity pro and a strong full metal body.

Every firearm or camera/video nut should have one o these for those odd mounting jobs that come up. My example is it helped me mount a Go-Pro on the bottom of my rifle barrel for a special video I was making.

Well machined and anodized finish. Not sure if it’s type III or not but for my application it’s not a priority. Low profile. The 1/4-20 threaded stud appears to centered on the mount

Price seems kind of high but functions good . Heavy duty .

I use this to rail mount my Xero chronograph and it works perfectly.

I wanted to attach a distance laser meter to the top of a scope mount (NATO/Picatinny Rail). I went through a number of various mounts until I got this one ... then I ordered two more. It is small, compact, all metal and as solid as the Rock of Gibraltar. It has 1/4-20 threaded hole in the top with a cavity in the bottom the head of a fastener. It comes with 1/4-20 x 10 mm long reduced shaft tripod screw. This allows one to FIRMLY attach a camera or other device with 1/4-20 female mount to the top. The NATO clamp uses two M5 x 30 mm socket head cap-screws so that one does not have any funky oversized fastener heads stuck out to interfere with other items.

I'm quite impressed by the quality of this thing, especially at its price point. The machining and finish are great. I have no idea how it would hold up mounted to an actual firearm, but for my use case it works perfectly.
