2 questions: My cutting board is clear. Does this mat have printing on both sides? If not, will it still grip counter top if flipped over? Thanks

Printing is only on one side and it will grip either way

Is this squishy or hard? part of the reason i use a towel under my flexible cutting mats is that i like the give it creates. thank you for your help.

It is very floppy & pliable. You can roll it & bend it. It can be placed through a commercial dishwasher. It keeps your cutting board in place & it will not move. I recommend this highly.
