Great quality, not bitter
Great Quality Protein Powder! Iโve been very happy with this protein powder. The vanilla flavor tastes great without being overly sweet, and it mixes smoothly with water or milk without clumping. The ingredients are clean, and itโs made from grass-fed whey, which I appreciate. Itโs easy on my stomach and has become part of my daily routine after workouts. Highly recommend if youโre looking for a high-quality protein powder!

Madagascar vanilla has great flavor, not gritty in smoothies.
So great to find a protein powder thatโs not in one of those big plastic containers. Our recycler does not recycle that kind of plastic so I can imagine how much room they take up at the landfill for the powder itself has a great flavor. Well, some people may not like the texture when added to a liquid beverage I use it in, still cut oats and smoothies โ so there is not a gritty texture. The price has gone up since so many people are using protein powders in combination with weight loss drugs cost of transportation may have affected that too still itโs a low cost source of protein compared to meat and itโs not overly sweet but still sweet enough to be yummy. Highly recommend.

Not worth the money
This is NOT GOOD. Super grainy, doesn't mix in well. Vanilla flavor is horrible, tastes like flour. Very disappointed of quality for what I had to spend.

Best Whey Protein Supplement I Have Purchased
I have bought the Vanilla, Raw Chocolate, and Peanut Butter flavors, and I must say I love them all. I had been using Less Naked Whey (Chocolate first, then Strawberry). I liked Less Naked just because of the purity of ingredients (no artificial sweeteners, gums, etc.). Because I have Crohn's Disease, I am sensitive to a lot of processed foods, particularly food additives. I didn't notice any issues with the Less Naked Whey, but it never mixed well (unfortunate "side effect" of no gum/emulsifier additives), and I wanted to try something new. Enter Promix. I bought the vanilla, and it mixed very well -- I just use a shaker with water post workouts -- and started incorporating it into more foods like smoothies, banana-based "ice creams," oatmeal, etc. It has a very pleasant vanilla taste with no aftertaste. The sunflower lecithin is probably the best emulsifier for any GI issues you might have and helps to keep the product in suspension. I am not a dietitian -- I am just providing my personal experience with it; you can investigate sunflower lecithin and other emulsifiers for yourself. So, I have since bought 5lb tubs of raw chocolate and peanut butter as well. All taste great, and there are only slight variations in calories, all from different amounts of fats. You will also get slightly different amino acid amounts depending on the flavor. If you are interested, you can check the labels to see if that might impact your decision. It's just protein; so, it's not a magic button -- you still have to put the effort into your workout, but it helps to supplement your diet if you are trying to increase your protein consumption.

Good quality ingredients and taste, but serving size and protein per serving are a bit low
I really liked this protein powder! Here's why: - One of the few protein powders I have seen that doesn't contain sucralose OR Stevia extract or equivalent but natural organic cane sugar - Great taste WITHOUT the gross aftertaste of sucralose. I mixed the vanilla flavor with 1/2 whole milk and 1/2 water and it just tastes like milk with a little sugar and vanilla flavor which makes it pleasant to drink - Mixes a little more easily than your average protein, but still makes a few small lumps on your spoon if you mix it that way. Using a shaker bottle with a mixing blade insert or mixing ball is recommended - Very refreshing to have a protein powder with only 4 simple ingredients (See Muscle Milk or other popular brands that have 10-20+ ingredients) - $80 for a 5 lb container isn't bad at all for a quality product. Walk into any GNC and try to pay less for the same amount and it'll be a challenge - It is un-denatured (does not show this on picture but was on the bottle that arrived) and from grass-fed cows However, there is a potential drawback to this protein powder: - Protein content per serving is less than I expected at only 25g per serving (1 serving = 2 scoops). My previous powder (GNC AMP Wheybolic 60 Power) was 20g per scoop (slightly larger scoop perhaps) - Again, a meager 25g of protein per serving is weirdly low. This may be because if they changed the serving size to 3 or 4 scoops then the sugar would be too high (6g per serving already). Labeling it with 12 g of sugar per serving would probably scare off many health-conscious consumers. Still, the serving size of 2 scoops doesn't make any sense! The bottle says to take 2 scoops on training days and 1 scoop on off-days. You can easily double this, if you're OK with the sugar content. - If you are sensitive to sugar or just trying to cut out any and all carbs and sugar from your diet, this may not be the one for you Despite the above, the pleasant taste will have you looking forward to your post-workout shake which will hopefully inspire you to workout more often!

Best Whey Product on the Market
This is the best whey I have ever purchased! Today I tried my first shake with Promix whey protein ( vanilla). I have to say you can seriously taste how clean this product truly is. It is so creamy and has absolutely 0 chemical or artificial taste. I was most intrigued by the low scores of heavy metals like lead. Most protein powders are very high in toxic heavy metals but Promix scores super low which is a huge relief. I live in northern california and I am familiar with several family cow farms in the north state and know how important their grass fed milk/beef is to us locals so finding out they source all they whey from my home state was a neat suprise. All the amino acids will make my recovery time speed up during this bootcamp. If you are looking for a transparent protein company I would highly recommend promix for its stats alone but once you actually taste it , it will confirm any hesitation you might have had. Super filling 25g protein , clean, low sugar, low sodium , and high amino acids. Users should be wary of other protein mixes that have added vitamins and probiotics because they tend to have other fillers, artificial sweeteners and metals - take a supplement separately it's better for you anyways! For other reviewers saying they have received stomach upset, it is common for people's bodies to change and reject too much of anyone thing. My body recently decided quinoa of all things, is a no no. Sometimes people are more sensitive to the protein from whey as opposed to vegetable protein. Take the negative reviews with a grain of salt. Dont deny yourself what could be a life changing product because you are afraid to try something new!

Good Basic Clean
Let me start with what I like. It appears to be cold processed, grass fed, clean whey protein, which are all good things. There are no artificial colors or sweeteners which helps w/ no after taste and leaves out all that garbage that our bodies were never intended to use. It mixes well (I always use a blender) and has 25 g of protein. Now for the downside. There is no taste or any "extras" to enhance your meal. I'm basing this on my standard protein that I use IDLife Shake, that has an amazing flavor and micro-milled chia seeds that help with smoothness/consistency w/ the shake, and also adds helpful omega's. I guess you'd say I'm spoiled on the best, but I thought I'd try another to augment our protein use at home b/c we use a lot! Otherwise, I would probably give it a 4 star. Feel free to contact me if you want to know where to get IDLife or if you have any questions. Hit it Hard!

Used to love Promix but something changed recently and it's not as good as it used to be.
I have been using the same Promix flavor for 2 years and I love it. I make the same smoothie every morning and I measure out everything. I never change the ingredients. I use 1 cup of frozen fruit, half a banana, 10 almonds, a scoop of yogurt, the Promix, and just under a cup of almond milk. That always blends into a really nice thick smoothie. Something changed with this batch of Promix. I got two different bags with my order and both are the same. I have a large container that I put the Promix in so it's easier to scoop out of and reseal. It always comes up to a certain point on that container. This time...the powder seemed much finer and it came about an inch short of the line. The powder also poured out of the bag so much easier due to how fine the powder was. When I went to make my smoothie. It normally ends up being really thick and blends so well. This time around the smoothie felt a bit gritty and chalky. It definitely didn't taste as good and the consistency of the smoothy was super liquidy. I thought at first maybe it was something with the milk. So the next day I opened a new container of almond milk...same result. Then I thought maybe it was the powder because that just arrived. I opened the 2nd bag and sure enough the same result. I don't know what changed but I am very disappointed. Promix isn't cheap but I loved it. Now I find myself thinking about swapping to a different brand of protein powder.
