KIWIHOME Cooling Fan for PS5 2020, Quiet Cooler with Auto Speed USB3.0

I thought overheating PlayStations were a thing of the past. Years ago I had the issue with my 60GB PS3 (fat model) but in the recent heatwave, my PS5 had just switched itself off with no prior warning with less than an hours use!I was always a bit sceptical of these cooling devices - after all, if they are powered by the PS5 itself (as this one is) then surely the console is working harder doing everything it normally does, plus powering this LED lit fan!!??Anyway, as I had suffered with it powering off I took the plunge...Firstly, it is thoughtfully designed in an aesthetically pleasing way. It just slots directly into the back of your machine so there is no trailing wire. The USB it uses is also replicated as a pass-thru socket so you don't lose a USB port either.I set it up in AUTO mode so that it comes on as and when needed.In practice I could not really hear it (mind you, my living room ceiling fan was on full whack) but if I placed my hand behind the console I could feel a stream of warm air being removed from the PS5.So the acid test was using the PS5 in a room that was almost 30 degrees Celsius.I turned it on, played for about a hour (it was doing nowhere near that before) and I am pleased to say it works as advertised!!I am so pleased as I had unable to game in the heatwave prior to this, and now I can without worrying about the welfare of my precious console 🙃

because of the heat we've been having the last few days, my original PS5 started to overheat and shut down after 2-3 hours. I had to strip it down to the motherboard and give it a proper clean. even thought that fixed the shutdown you could still feel some heat from the case. I thought this was going to be a waste of money, but i'm actually surprised at how well it works. it's shocking the amount of heat this thing extracts from the PS5, but the console itself cool to the touch.

It worked extremely well and was easy to install and didn’t find it noisy at all. Quite the opposite. Wouldn’t say it’s durable as it’s quite light weight. However the PS5 itself kept overheating anyway. That was down to dust in the internal system. No fault of the fan.

This is the one to buy.If you're console is horizontal on an open shelf and you just want to boost it's chances of staying a little bit cooler, then a Kiwihome fan is the best option.I initially bought the Fastsnail fan to go with with the pro, and whilst no doubt that fan does its job, it is unacceptably noisy, and also made odd moaning sounds, and I started to worry if it was actually the console itself making the noises... anyway I quickly decided to switch to the Kiwihome one instead and it's 100% better.Unobtrusive noise, same level of cooling, better looking, better packaging, just better product all round. Easier to fit too. I have it on setting 1 which is constant low. I think 2 (auto) might spin up fast too often, which would be a bit too loud.Great product.

Works great for less than a month, after that the bottom fan doesnt spin up to speed and makes a loud whirring noise. Not worth the 26quid i spent on it

I have a PS5 pro fits really well. Does the job keeps the control unit? Cool I haven’t had a problem with it since I’ve had it would buy again.

I've fitted this to the back of my playstation, fitted alright and easy to install, but after about 20 minutes or so, my playstation randomly turned off without warning, at first, I thought it was due to a power cut, but found nothing else affected, so had to try and turn it back on again, found the fan to be really hot which was weird. Loaded the console again, after another 20 minutes or so, it happened again, bearing in mind, before fitting this fan, I never had this random switching off issue before. What seems to be happening is instead of cooling the fans within the console, it's doing the complete opposite, causing it to shut down due to overheating, I've since took the fan off the back and it's never switched off again randomly. I've requested to return these fans.

Super easy installation, has a pass thru USB so that you dont lose a USB port for the one it takes up, looks great, functions very quietly. This is an impressive volume of air for such a small unit. I would and have recommended this product to others. It literally snaps in place, just put it on the setting you want and you're done.

I purchased this fan to help compensate for the extra heat my PS5 Pro generates when playing AAA titles and I was not disappointed! It fit perfectly, looks great, was easy to assemble, and you don't have to sacrifice any of your ports on the back of the console. It has a low mode where it constantly blows and an automatic mode that senses when your console is getting too warm so thats a nice option too. Plus their company contacted me to confirm I was purchasing the correct version of the fan so that there wasn't any mixups! I recommended it to my brother and he's loving it for his console too!

Accessoires qui fait sont taff le mode automatique est sympa. Le bruit en vitesse max est raisonnable mais personnellement j'utilise beaucoup mon casque quand je joue. Pour l'entretien très simple a nettoyer et facile a brancher/débrancher.
